App is a joke - product is good
The product itself is good but the app is completely useless. Good luck figuring out how to actually use the scheduled times!
Won't connect to WiFi
As others have stated, it claims my network cannot be found or password is incorrect. No way to connect the app/device to my WiFi.
UPDATE: Currently the device won't connect to networks that contain a special character in the name (i.e., $, &, @, etc). I tested it with a guest network with no special characters and it connected perfectly. I'm hoping the developer can provide a firmware update to correct this issue, before I change my network name and have to reconnect 40+ devices in my house.

No indication that device is on and working
Can’t tell it’s operational. Nothing on the app and no indicator on the device
App isn't good
App is very finicky and lacks a lot of features. Also when things update my scent machines don't go off all the time. Overall, not a good app. Love the scents and supporting small businesses though
Terrible Hardware
I want to support this company. I enjoyed their clunky Scent Machine 101 enough to buy a couple of the room atomizers.
Part of that meant moving to this new app. Changes made here do not update devices. They may possibly behave correctly for a few minutes, but will ultimately revert to running at a VERY high percentage randomly. It seems to decide whenever you plug one it is noon. It does not set the clock.
I just don’t know how someone puts something like this for sale that literally doesn’t do the one thing it claims to.
The scents are great. The tools (this software specifically) is terrible.

Can’t get past the connect to WiFi screen
I just received a machine very excited to set it up however, I cannot make it past the set up Wi-Fi screen, unfortunately it’s very dissatisfying and I’m not sure why it’s not working considering it’s right next to my router… sadly this does not work as advertised..
Useless app
Can’t even find my WiFi. So whatever app features the representative told me to do to adjust settings, I can’t do. I feel in love with the scent of my choice and decide to purchase the machine. Expensive for unit. Hopefully at least it will do the function to make my house smell with the scent I chose.

Legacy app was better
This new version of the app is completely unusable. It doesn’t connect with the Aroma unit even though it thinks it is connected. Not sure if the issue is with the app or the firmware upgrade they required. I’m sure there is something they wills attribute to user error, but ultimately it is a customer experience. Awful.

Can’t connect
The first issue was not receiving a confirmation email to activate my account.. the second was it kept failing to connect to the device once I was to the naming it page. Spent all of this money and it’s junk.

Scam
The diffusers do not work as advertised & sold. The Room diffuser does not work with my WiFi and I cannot change settings manually, plus it is LOUD. Not to mention, the company is aware the black travel diffusers do not work as powerfully as the white or red, and yet they sell the defective product at the same price, but it is not the same value. They refuse to change this. Frustrating and disappointing

This is not based on the app
So I know what it is like to be a small business. And these one star ratings have got to be disheartening. I just want to say the business itself, and the customer service are far above and beyond almost any others I have dealt with. The app definitely needs some work. I can’t even use it right now because it just continues to say my password is incorrect for my home network and it’s not. However, the app does not reflect the wonderful customer service and the wonderful product that this company provides

Just awful
Imagine not even getting a simple feature like on/off switch! To say this app is amateur would be to give it more credit than it deserves. Also why are you broadcasting an SSID??
Terrible application.
I’ll start this review by saying I’ve had nothing but problems with this app. First, the diffuser will constantly emit scent off schedule. Always. Resetting it fixed the problem for a few hours. The app also constantly shoots errors about overlapping times and fails to create updated schedules. The newest issue is that I can’t even login to my account because it throws an error. I’m heavily disappointed that an app this untested would be released to the public.

No bugs were fixed
This app is not connecting to my machine. I had to manually program it. The confirmation emails came to my account 24 hours after I requested them! The app is connected to wifi but will not connect to the machine and let me make changes on the app. Please fix it!!
The worst.
I really wanted to love this product, spent months justifying the cost. Do not connect your device to this terrible app. It will NEVER work properly if you do. Worked great right out of the package, plugged in, no app. I caught myself wanting to play with the app settings, set a little schedule, adjust the scent percentage. DO NOT DO IT. Now I cannot choose a schedule , I cannot reset my device, cannot delete my device, the app does nothing. It’s is useless. and there is zero scent coming from the dispensing mechanism now. This app destroyed my device’s ability to function.

Can’t connect device to network
Even following the user guide for setting up the newest version of the home scent machine, the app still won’t successfully connect the device to my home network. The app just continues to say “Password is invalid. Try again.” whenever I try to put my WiFi password into the app. I know I’m not mistyping it — I’ve even copied it straight from my router’s admin page and pasted it into the app. Still the same message. I’m tech savvy and know some devices can’t connect to 5Ghz WiFi networks so I even disabled that to force it to connect to the more universal 2.4Ghz band. Still the same message. The scent machine itself is great, and I’m glad they still have manual buttons on it because I guess mine won’t be a true smart device anytime soon.
