Super Bummed No Customer Service support
I have emailed these people until I am weak attempting to get customer service because just like the other reviews are saying everything works fine as long as everything is connected working, but the problem comes in when it’s not mine no longer shows me notifications in the app, however, the icon shows that I have over 100 not notifications. I have emailed and tried to call back the customer service number but no one answers and no one is responding. It’s almost like they don’t care. I’m going to see if I could find them on Amazon and anywhere else online so that I can leave a negative review so that someone will call me back to fix what I have bought. These locks are not cheap at all, and the lack of customer service is ridiculous.

Super bummed
I’m super bummed. I bought two of these door locks. When they work, everything is just fine. It’s when they don’t work that there is a problem. I keep a spare key locked up outside just in case and have needed to use it many times. Most recently the app stopped showing video of people at my door and instead shows an image captured. I’ve tried to delete and re-add the devices but nothing seems to bring the video back. Not what I expected for $150 each lock. More of a hassle than it’s been worth.

Back to square one: AL501
The Smart lock works great, this app does control the lock well and I can see live video and the quality is great, night time as well. App is straight forward and I do like the layout, video quality, two-way audio and ease of setting passwords and finger prints.
I would be recommending this product to all my friends as the device is great and there is no monthly charge for the app.
10/1/25 Update: recent update has fixed all my previous issues and I’m completely happy with this device and app service.
12/1/26 Update: the lock battery keeps dying but is actually charged, admin password does not work and cannot hard reset the device. It will not connect to the app anymore and does not lock.
I wasted $300 on hardware that has no working software plus a buttload of issues since the September 2025 update.

WiFi Bluetooth Look
Bugs, bugs and more bugs. This app has so many bugs or incomplete functionality that it is unusable.
Basic essentials are missing
Wow, I can’t do the most basic things with this app. For example, I can unlock the door but I can’t lock the door. I was notified someone was at my door but there is no record of it and no way for me to access the video. The date time stamp is wrong and no way to adjust it. Many basic settings I cannot do from the app, but can at the door. That’s the whole reason for the app! Software developers really need to clean this up! Very little thought went into the development of this app.
