This app really allows you to deep dive into your network. It’s stable, smooth, and well designed. I genuinely think the developer team wants the best for its customers, and the combination of all ASUS hardware with this software has led me to have confidence in the brand. I have a smart home with minimum 24 connected devices, sometimes 35+ with people over. This app allows me to confirm that all devices are working, and makes sure my system is up to date and running smoothly. Really a good app for those tech inclined. Bravo ASUS

Good app features
The app works as intended. The wifi mesh and firmware update features are very useful.
Not working as expected.
Signal is strong, but the router keeps losing / pausing the incoming / outgoing signal? Eventually it stops or loses internet. Have to turn the router off then back on.
Rubbish
App just does not log in, even though the password and username are correct. No matter what can not log in and there is no help either. Waste of time
Easy install, great performance
Retired my Synology Mesh network and replaced with ZenBE14000 equipment. Want the future proofing Synology abandoned. This app makes install very easy. I set up devices next to active system under a dual NAT to establish Mesh operations, then deployed devices and restored coms. Was easy to swap out equipment and then start new capabilities. App provides simple setup and the ability to get much better insight as i learned the operation.

Very disappointed in general
I expected significantly more from this router. On paper, it offers an impressive feature set for advanced home labs and small business environments, but in real-world use the firmware is unstable, poorly optimized, and frustratingly unreliable.
The mobile app is arguably the weakest part of the ecosystem. It frequently freezes, stalls, or fails to populate connected devices altogether. In many cases, it becomes completely unresponsive, making even basic management tasks impossible. For a product marketed around centralized network management, the software experience is unacceptable.
The web interface isn’t much better. Nearly every configuration change triggers an unnecessary service restart that can take well over a minute before the interface becomes usable again. Making multiple configuration changes becomes painfully slow because you’re constantly waiting for the system to recover after each adjustment. The UI itself also suffers from noticeable latency and poor responsiveness.
From a networking perspective, reliability is equally disappointing. Despite extensive configuration and troubleshooting, I continue to experience intermittent connectivity issues. The router struggles with environments containing multiple identical devices—for example, several PlayStation 5 consoles—often causing one client to disconnect or lose connectivity while another remains active. Device management and session handling appear inconsistent and unreliable.
Advanced networking features such as Dual WAN failover and load balancing also fall short. While they appear functional during initial setup, they become unreliable when they’re actually needed. Failover events are inconsistent, load balancing behavior is unpredictable, and neither feature inspires confidence for anyone depending on uninterrupted connectivity.
Overall, this feels like hardware with excellent specifications held back by immature firmware and poor software engineering. The platform has tremendous potential, but in its current state it is unstable, sluggish, and not something I would trust in either a demanding home network or a small business environment. Until the firmware and management software receive substantial improvements, I cannot recommend this router.

Fails to connect often
Fails more than it works…restarts are mostly accomplished by manually walking to each mesh unit and performing a manual power cycle.

Disconnessione
È un router che potrebbe offrire veramente tanto ma presente delle problematiche inerenti lo stato di abbandono della connessione nonostante ricevitore sembra che comunichi sul tuo telefono le tre lineetta che è connesso in realtà nell’applicazione router è continuamente disconnesso. Bisogna interagire ogni volta con l’accensione tramite cavo, staccando e riattaccando, staccando e riattaccando, staccando e riattaccando veramente penoso.

Worst app ever
Simply not fit for purpose. Cannot execute simple commands such as switching on/off port forwarding. Has just prompted me to upgrade firmware, and now complete network is down for no apparent reason. Will be deleting and reverting to desktop portal!

Speed Test Not Working
For the last week the inbuilt speed test has stopped working. I have no idea why and am unable to fix it. The only thing I haven’t tried is a full factory reset and don’t really want to go down that route and I’m not even sure if it will.
