Does not work
Downloaded the app today for first time. I am a tourist to Rome so I have never had a need or previously downloaded this app. After registering my account online and on my first attempt to log in to app. My device was blocked and account was inaccessible. The message displayed was “blocking error”. When I reached out to support I was told it would not be addressed for 30 days. That’s not very helpful for a weekend trip to Rome. I do not recommend for tourist at least.

The app is totally useless, I wouldn’t even trust it to buy my tickets. You’re better off just asking a question from someone who is at the stop
Buggy
After registering, I needed to uninstall the app, re-install it, then was successfully able to login and purchase a ticket. Otherwise I'd get a "device blocked / already registered" error. Definitely should be fixed to make onboarding smoother.
Not Useful
This was my first visit to Rome and this app was totally worthless! It is not intuitive and did not help me find buses or subways. Worst of all, I could not use location services and just tap on a location and get directions. The app made me type in a physical address each time, and even then it would not save my previous entries. YOU HAVE A lot TO LEARN FROM OTHER CITIES WITH GREAT TRANSPORTATION AND GREAT APPS!

QR code issues
Using the 48 hour pass, the QR code would not read. Tried on the subway and the bus. I sent a via the app contact us button and the next morning the QR codes worked most of the time. The various modes of travel that Atac tickets cover means you can get around the city without having to walk so much.
