Worth the Cost

I was skeptical - because I hate forced subscription apps - but this is worth the money. After using it for a month, I feel I am really healing my relationship with food. It tracks in a beautiful visual format with no judgement. I also love how everything is in one place - movement, fasting, sleep, measurements, tracking - rather than using multiple apps like I was in the past.

Good, but too much

I really like this app, but I don't use any of the features aside from the photo journal. I have no interest in an AI coach, personally.

I wish there was a lower subscription tier with restricted features, but I understand that it might not be feasible/profitable. Unfortunately, for $9.99 per month, I just can't justify it when everything else is getting more and more expensive.

Kudos to the devs for making a great app.

Amazing App!

I used this app while I was losing weight after my first child. It helped me lose 30lbs! When I was pregnant with my second I had gestational diabetes and this app synced seamlessly with my blood sugar reader and I also used it to keep track of my steps and of course I use the photos to remember what I ate that day. Love it so much!

Fun alternative to counting calories

I really enjoy seeing my food through pictures as a way to be more accountable about what I’m eating everyday. It motivates me to add more color and variety to my diet - which encourages me to eat healthier overall. Random bonus: it’s nice to know for sure how old my leftovers are or when I opened that container of cream cheese lol!

Ai coach

How am I supposed to stay healthy when ai data centres are destroying the planet?! The advice it gives will not always be correct, I do not want this, especially when it comes to my health.

Request for the developers

1. Can we PLEASE have the option to return to square photos? I know it’s a visual thing but I can’t be alone in this. If it is possible to create a toggle in the settings to the new way or square I would love this feature.

2. Can we get a fasting timer instead of it starting from the picture of our last meal? Since we already have the option to turn fasting on and off. I’ve been going in and changing the time to when I finished eating so that I can get a more accurate picture and it becomes cumbersome after a while.

I throughly enjoy this app after being a long term original user before it became a subscription and I got miffed and left. I’ve been back for a few years since and I get it, gotta keep the app going somehow and I find it very helpful for my mindful eating habits.

Excellent for intermittent fasting

Time stamped pics keep track of frequency and fasting periods. I no longer have to use a fasting app where I have to start and stop my fast constantly if I eat something. This just time stamps it and keeps track. The best.

So useful

This app has so many useful features. It has so easy to use. Works absolutely perfect with my food plans.

the pay wall is stupid

other than that i really like this app. but i just want to take pictures of my food. i dont like how this app is unusable most of the time because of that stupid upgrade pop-up

The Best

I’ve been using this app for years. I cannot live without it. I have used it in so many different ways. It’s so versatile. The app is updated and continuously gets better all the time. It’s worth every penny.

No thanks

Agree with the other reviews saying the app uses deceptive patterns, and presents as free after you’ve provided personal info and created an account. An actual “free trial” shouldn’t require a payment commitment before I get to explore the basic interface and features and decide if it suits me.

Great, would appreciate more features.

Very cute, positive, easy to use. I would appreciate if I could add photos for drinks, movement, etc. instead of just food. I would also appreciate an option to track my period with it (my goal is to understand my eating patterns and hormones play a roll in that).

Love the concept / I am still learning how to best use

I’m loving the snapshot of my day/week/beyond that this collates. I would like greater accuracy of nutritional data that relates to standard meals (eg a measured protein shake with water). Taking a photo of the data on the package doesnt seem to gather this. Also having a bank of favourites is useful, and perhaps these favourites could incorporate a reliable breakdown that could be entered and carried forward for each use. Photos of meals seems to identify the contents, and I just need some added discipline around adding some notes to produce a more accurate interpretation. But all in all, it is by far the closest to what I have been seeking in my food and habit tracking. Thanks!

Edits

I would like to be able to edit my messages. When I add to analysis and am specific about weights and measures, the AI output is often still inaccurate and omits condiments.

Actually changed my life

This app makes it so easy to move towards an intuitive eating and intuitive healthy life. The data is also very helpful too. I’m glad I got this app

Great

Love this app. It is not super fancy but I like that it’s not a hardcore dieting app. I take a picture and it gently recommends changes, and that’s what I need :)

Blah

You need premium to do anything, only downloading the app is free

Great for Intuitive Eating

As someone who has a poor relationship with calorie counting but want to easily track what i eat for my diet, this app has been amazing for my needs! I’ve been using it for over a year now and i love it! I have the app for quick access as a widget on my lock screen. Friends think i’m just taking pic of my food but it’s really me tracking it for my diet! so sneaky and easy and sustainable ^^ I love that it also tracks my movement and weigh-in’s all visible in one place. Thank you for building this app! It’s the first app i’ve used consistently for so long, and look forward to viewing instead of dreading opening a page full of metrics ^^ the other apps were too overwhelming with too many things to input it was hard to keep up. The photos here help me with general accountability because i often forget what i eat. Helps me be honest if i’d been eating more off-path food than i thought.

Fast & easy food journal. Helped me loose 70 lbs and kept it off!

This is the fastest, easiest to use food journal out there. Can save a meal in a few taps. Use it every day and living it. The Why did you eat question really puts things into perspective. Changed my life. Thanks! 🙏
