Ai coach

How am I supposed to stay healthy when ai data centres are destroying the planet?! The advice it gives will not always be correct, I do not want this, especially when it comes to my health.

Request for the developers

1. Can we PLEASE have the option to return to square photos? I know it’s a visual thing but I can’t be alone in this. If it is possible to create a toggle in the settings to the new way or square I would love this feature.

2. Can we get a fasting timer instead of it starting from the picture of our last meal? Since we already have the option to turn fasting on and off. I’ve been going in and changing the time to when I finished eating so that I can get a more accurate picture and it becomes cumbersome after a while.

I throughly enjoy this app after being a long term original user before it became a subscription and I got miffed and left. I’ve been back for a few years since and I get it, gotta keep the app going somehow and I find it very helpful for my mindful eating habits.

Excellent for intermittent fasting

Time stamped pics keep track of frequency and fasting periods. I no longer have to use a fasting app where I have to start and stop my fast constantly if I eat something. This just time stamps it and keeps track. The best.

So useful

This app has so many useful features. It has so easy to use. Works absolutely perfect with my food plans.

the pay wall is stupid

other than that i really like this app. but i just want to take pictures of my food. i dont like how this app is unusable most of the time because of that stupid upgrade pop-up

The Best

I’ve been using this app for years. I cannot live without it. I have used it in so many different ways. It’s so versatile. The app is updated and continuously gets better all the time. It’s worth every penny.

No thanks

Agree with the other reviews saying the app uses deceptive patterns, and presents as free after you’ve provided personal info and created an account. An actual “free trial” shouldn’t require a payment commitment before I get to explore the basic interface and features and decide if it suits me.

Great, would appreciate more features.

Very cute, positive, easy to use. I would appreciate if I could add photos for drinks, movement, etc. instead of just food. I would also appreciate an option to track my period with it (my goal is to understand my eating patterns and hormones play a roll in that).

Love the concept / I am still learning how to best use

I’m loving the snapshot of my day/week/beyond that this collates. I would like greater accuracy of nutritional data that relates to standard meals (eg a measured protein shake with water). Taking a photo of the data on the package doesnt seem to gather this. Also having a bank of favourites is useful, and perhaps these favourites could incorporate a reliable breakdown that could be entered and carried forward for each use. Photos of meals seems to identify the contents, and I just need some added discipline around adding some notes to produce a more accurate interpretation. But all in all, it is by far the closest to what I have been seeking in my food and habit tracking. Thanks!

Edits

I would like to be able to edit my messages. When I add to analysis and am specific about weights and measures, the AI output is often still inaccurate and omits condiments.

Actually changed my life

This app makes it so easy to move towards an intuitive eating and intuitive healthy life. The data is also very helpful too. I’m glad I got this app

Great

Love this app. It is not super fancy but I like that it’s not a hardcore dieting app. I take a picture and it gently recommends changes, and that’s what I need :)

Blah

You need premium to do anything, only downloading the app is free

Great for Intuitive Eating

As someone who has a poor relationship with calorie counting but want to easily track what i eat for my diet, this app has been amazing for my needs! I’ve been using it for over a year now and i love it! I have the app for quick access as a widget on my lock screen. Friends think i’m just taking pic of my food but it’s really me tracking it for my diet! so sneaky and easy and sustainable ^^ I love that it also tracks my movement and weigh-in’s all visible in one place. Thank you for building this app! It’s the first app i’ve used consistently for so long, and look forward to viewing instead of dreading opening a page full of metrics ^^ the other apps were too overwhelming with too many things to input it was hard to keep up. The photos here help me with general accountability because i often forget what i eat. Helps me be honest if i’d been eating more off-path food than i thought.

Wasted my time

Doesn’t tell you you have to pay until after you’ve already gone through submitting all your information

Fast & easy food journal. Helped me loose 70 lbs and kept it off!

This is the fastest, easiest to use food journal out there. Can save a meal in a few taps. Use it every day and living it. The Why did you eat question really puts things into perspective. Changed my life. Thanks! 🙏

Great…with one annoying bug

I’ve been using the app religiously for a couple of months. I love how easy it is to stay accountable. Also like the integration with my scale and workout apps. One bug that’s started to happen is when I try to make an update to the analysis, it erases the entire analysis and I have to re-enter everything. Sometimes it doesn’t get the analysis back at all. Once that’s fixed, five stars!

The photo analysis function always has negative feedback

The app is fine until you use the photo anaylisis feature. It will always tell you its not good. The first few times I didnt care beacsue my meals were not as good as it could have been but even if you do the suggestions it says and you replace everything with the “better option” it still says its processed even if you made it from scratch or its high in sodium even if you used all low sodium or it not enough veggies or its high in sugar when there's no sugar. It will always says its a bad meal. I know its just suggestions but if they want you to pay for this and use this for best results that dont make it shame you for every meal you eat. I was told that my fruit bowl was “too high in processes sugar and I should try something lighter next time”!!! How much lighter van I get than a single apple with a few grapes. The only meals that got a ok result were ones where I litterly had a single grape on the picture. That's not how healthy eating works its not just eating a light as possible. I was getting so stressed trying to make the meals so they would pass this stupid analysis and its not possible or healthy.

Subscription

I wish these apps would declare ight up front that there is no free version, only subscription offers. I was faked out again!

AI overview is so far off

The AI overview seemed useful but it’s so far off. How is a bowl of beans low nutrients and little protein? How is banana & strawberries and low fat plain yogurt highly processed sugar? I highly regret this annual purchase but it’s one of the only photo tracking apps … I will definitely not be renewing at the end of my year.
