Doesn’t work, too many problems
Awful model: looses satellite signal even in the middle of the lawn, doesn’t return to its base and misses chunks of lawn. Wish I never bothered.

The app is OK and does most of what you expect, reliably. One annoying bug makes it impossible to change my NERA 405VE from imperial to metric units of measure. The feature exists in the app but has absolutely no effect.
Update: since a firmware update of the mower a few days ago, my phone can’t access any settings on the mower at all!!

Grass looks great, having mapping issues
After working great for a couple of months, the mower is getting stuck often saying charging station is blocked.
Problem with update?
With the latest update, the ability to change cutting height seems to have disappeared?
easy to use
Easy to use. But could use a couple of features;
1. Ability to suspend a zone for heavy yard work, tree removal, etc
2. Change the color of a zone to show progress, along with the percentage mowed.

Suddenly Unreliable
This app has worked very well for the past several years. However, after this recent update it either won’t load any of my mowers or takes several minutes or more to load them. Been having to manually control them from the keypad on the mower itself which is extremely inconvenient. Please fix this issue.

Until Husqvarna makes its app and overall functionality for set up, it will be reviewed as sub-par. It has s 2026. Time for Husqvarna to hire a tech team and start from scratch.

Simplifying lawn care
The EPS 550 has definitely simplified my lawn care he can work day and night can mow in my large zero turn can’t mow due to wet ground and just helped me maintain my lawn. My critiques would be he continually has map errors so he’ll go to the docking station and stay there until I stop and restart him and I have to do that manually at the mower versus on the app.

Disconnect issues
Nearly all ways i cannot use the app it says disconnected so it’s useless, i have to do it manually, so if it gets stolen i won’t be able to find it by gps. Very disappointing. I won’t be buying another one..
Behaviour change required
I may be remembering incorrectly, but there was a time where making a map change would reset the active mow mission, now it resets there entire mow mission list back to zero meaning it starts the entire mission list over which in my case can delay the schedule by days

Very difficult to program, still have to mower to dust up edges
Mower Great! Software in dark ages
Excellent product with outstanding mowing performance. The biggest opportunity for improvement is in the mapping software. Three simple additions—Test Transport Route, Test Boundary and Test Exclusions—would make setup dramatically easier and reduce installation errors. Also who thought to put the directional arrows bottom left and right, which on an ipad is almost impossible to use for very long.

Great mower, rubbish app
We have had our mower for almost a year now. Love the concept and the mower generally does a great job. Except for edges! Despite the installer being asked several times he has still been unable to get our mower to go to the edges, even where it’s a completely seemless flat surface from grass to patio. We have to go round with an old mower or strimmer to do all edges. In some places this is understandable as the mower wouldn’t be able to run closer to the edge or swivel its rear end out but not in many places. Other than that, the actual mower is great.
The app however is a different story. It’s the most frustrating thing to use. It doesn’t work on iPad for a start. I can see our schedule on the iphone but on the ipad, you can only see one lawn, the rest of the tabs don’t do anything at all. Useless.
Trying to change simple settings such as grass height is utterly awful. Even using ChatGPT, I was unable to find the setting. My husband eventually found it and set it remotely for me. I would also like to be able to easily change the boundary lines by a simple drag to force the mower to go to the safe edges of our lawn. Having to have someone come out and walk around the lawn is ridiculous. Apart from which we can never get hold of our installer.
So in summary, great mower for the most part, appalling app. Stop adding ‘new’ features and just fix and improve the basics. PLEASE! And make it user friendly with a single menu with all the settings. Having help available online would also be great. Google something and you don’t find the answer. Why? It should be easy to find detailed instructions with pictures for every single setting and scenario. A detailed help site with a good search function could save so much frustration and wasted time.

Fantastic mower. I really push mine to the limits with what she can do. I would like to see a little history in the app so I can see what she has and hasn’t done.
Helpful app feature please
New user apps ok could use a lot more features but it would be very useful to have a combine overlaying map feature. Allowing you to map small sections of a large area to be more easily detailed. Waiting for the mower to start over to observe its path is very annoying.

Super glitchy. Works sporadically, fails for unclear reasons, must be restarted repeatedly, can’t be trusted to operate on its own. Was a very expensive waste of money
