Nothing

I open the app and it says “Do my free trial” and I’m like, ok fine. Click that and it takes me to a white screen. Swiped out of the app and retried and it does the logo and then white. Maybe I’m dumb, but this app just doesn’t work at all for me.

Testing

Awesome app!

Love it-more

I have been using Ayoa since the mind maps were added in. It took me a while to adjust and see how things work together, but once I opened my mind I saw the power of this tool, to develop ideas in mind maps, and make them happen in Taskboards/planner and Calendar . I’m already seeing a productivity boost at work and better organisation at home = much less stress more💵.

Would love to see a presentation mode ( had to present from imindmap recently, a shame cause I think Ayoa would have blown there socks off) I think this is coming soon though.

A great app that works. I would highly recommend. 6yrs ago

Update: I think that the web, phone and iPad apps are now starting to work well together. With the ability create branches with your fingers making everything much smoother on mobile apps. The AI particularly for starting projects and creating images is first class. Still not entirely convinced by the whiteboards but that could just be a personal thing. I think the ability to pin just the maps I use regularly on the home page, rather than having to have all of them would be another good enhancement. Still a great app and getting better. March 2026

Central part of my productivity system - as someone with Asperger/ASD

Still using this app (imindmap user previously with upgrades from v3-v11). But have downgraded rating to 4 stars.

Loss of Evernote integration, large inconsistencies in map to task behaviour between iOS and web, Dropbox and google drive link integrations don’t work on iOS, quirky Calendar integrations, and the big one: no Apple Pencil support on iOS (which is a bizarre omission).

I now use this as a stand alone app, for ideas and learning. It’s still a unique product but needs some User interface design improvements….

Not ready for Prime Time

The iOS Ayoa application is not ready primetime use. No clear way to clean up a Map. Navigation with the Apple Pencil is poor. Most of the menu options available in the web application are not available. Looks and feels a lot like an Alpha version.

Not a great app

Limited functionality - can’t print from it

Used to be my favorite

This app got little love since before Ayoa took over, now it gets less. The features for desktop (actually the web version) are not available here. Seems like the focus now is corporations. I find little reason to justify the high cost of subscription, and annual subscription at that.

Response from developer

Beware they take money you didn’t authorise £144!!!

Beware!

I thought you had to sign up and hold your card details to trial the free version.

I used the free version to create seven boxes with my essay headings and realised it wasn’t that Dyslexia friendly and decided not to use it.

Ayoa charged my card £144!!! I contacted them to explain this was not an authorised purchase, I had not used any of the paid for sections and had literally tried the free app for less than ten mins (I just thought it had to store my card details like many other apps to do this).

I got a snotty reply from Caitlin saying tough luck! Despite not using it and being confused by their process. I am now reporting to Trading Standards and claiming back via my credit card as I did not intend to purchase a £144 app!

This is an unscrupulous company, I do not recommend. Do not give them your card details are they are not a trustworthy company.

Disappointed

Not user friendly at all.

Great Mapping Tool

I have one place to keep all my ideas organized. Helpful in planning and easy to use. For me, it’s a game changer!

Response from developer

We're delighted to hear that Ayoa is helping you stay organised and making a real difference in your planning process. Thank you for sharing your feedback and positive experiences with others!

I love it

One of the most amazing, professional, fun organising programmes yet I have worked with in my life. Thanks for making it easier.

Frustrating hunt for a decent app

Requires log in to do anything- let me trial its features first. And add a lifetime option as I have no interest in the endless subscription option.

The best tool

The best to nowadays to build up mind, Mabs.
You guys are ahead of the curve and I think in the future you’re going to integrate everything from ChatGPT 4 turbo. Endless possibilities for the future. I hope you guys can do it as fast as you can to improve our performance because if you can sync all the automations through your platform and ChatGPT it’ll be amazing.
See you guys soon.

App does not work whatsoever

Zero stars would be more appropriate.

The app opens and let’s me login and let’s me go to a pointless accounts page, but it is otherwise completely featureless, completely dead and unresponsive. It is just a dead white screen. It’s this way on both ipad and iPhone. I presume it’s bugged but I can’t find anything online showing what it should be like for users with a free account, so who knows.

There’s no way I’m paying for an account when it’s like this.

All white home screen?

Installed twice, it’s like a shell of an app. Some basic UI/Navigation via a standard corner stack…just a white screen.

Central part of my productivity system - as someone with Asperger/ASD

I love lists of data. But not for thinking with and organising ideas. Too much information, my brain sees the analogue infinite variation in the definitive digital far too easily. My mind relaxes with this tool. Ayoa tames my galloping mind. Ayoa + Evernote + Fantastical + Brain Toss + Tiimo covers the majority of my Autism organisational life. Every idea and thought ends up in Evernote, via Ayoa. Every appointment or scheduled activity ends up in Fantastical via Ayoa. Sometimes on the go I’ll put an idea through Brain Toss, but they route to Ayoa and Evernote too. I see my life as the bubbles, all my appointments, bills, relationships, ideas…. It’s a picture an image. MindMaps for exploring a subject. A picture speaks a 1000 words. I use Tiimo for the start and end of each day. But all my routines are plotted in Ayoa first…. Far from perfect, many niggles. But the quirkiness is it’s attraction maybe… If you have Asperger you should look at this app

Great App

Great app for mind maps. I loved it. Very easy to use.

A complete mess

I hope I didn’t get this app

Best creative/productivity app there is

I’ve used Ayoa for years now. Amazing app. Best suite of tools that I own!

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY FOR IPad

So I bought this with the intention of using it to give presentations. I develop mindmaps on the Mac and use iPad to present. After trying it on the Mac I like the features and made the purchase, assuming that the iPad version would be similarly feature rich. How wrong I was, the iPad version was so clunky and features so minimal compared to Mac I asked for refund. I was told by customer support: 1. “The Ayoa mobile app is currently the light version” and “at the moment we have focused more on the web/desktop apps”. Would have been nice to know, perhaps a warning Reminder pops up and says it. 2. I was also told that they don’t give refunds. Which they do tell you upfront, however since the two apps are so drastically different, I don’t feel like I received what I paid for. I feel defrauded. Since it was within 7 days and I purchased a multi-year subscription I thought they would provide good customer service and do the right thing. Apparently they are interested in neither. Wouldn’t waste my time and especially money.
