Central part of my productivity system - as a neurodiverse human.

Great app. Use alongside Tiimo for my ASD organisation and executive function needs.

Takes some lateral thinking, but with a different approach you can bypass the list type organising systems that flood the market and use both sides of your brain with Ayoa.

Recommended!!!!!!

A few quirks (like most apps tbf) but like a fine whiskey is improving with age, so worthy of 5 stars.

No right way to use this app, which is its biggest strength.

Project Management

AYOA has been instrumental in organising my messy thoughts and project plans! It’s so colourful and intuitive which I love as someone who is very visual and likes to keep things simple.

One of my favourite features is to drop in a YouTube link or book title into the Mind Mapping function and it creates a simplified view of the entire thing in seconds! I can easily add actions from my Mind Maps and turn these into projects of varying levels

I really love the personalisation options and the freedom I have to adjust the visuals to make them work for my way of thinking

Great app. Use alongside Tiimo for my ASD organisation and executive function needs. Previously used the predecessor app, iMindmap , since version 1 - and while there are few things that annoy me, for example notifications on iOS (separate time based and update notifications please!!!) - but there are work arounds, using email and the G-Cal integrations, for example. A few other inconstancies with the mobile app too.

But this is an app, like a fine whisky, is just getting better with age.

Takes some lateral thinking, but with a different approach you can bypass the list type organising systems that flood the market and use both sides of your brain with Ayoa.

Applicazione fantastica

Used to be my favorite

This app got little love since before Ayoa took over, now it gets less. The features for desktop (actually the web version) are not available here. Seems like the focus now is corporations. I find little reason to justify the high cost of subscription, and annual subscription at that.

Nothing

I open the app and it says “Do my free trial” and I’m like, ok fine. Click that and it takes me to a white screen. Swiped out of the app and retried and it does the logo and then white. Maybe I’m dumb, but this app just doesn’t work at all for me.

Testing

Awesome app!

Why? No Widget on IOS

Hi, I need to see a widget on my home screen in my iPhone, to display my maps/projects seamlessly. Bring that feature then I will bring 5 ⭐️

Love it-more

I have been using Ayoa since the mind maps were added in. It took me a while to adjust and see how things work together, but once I opened my mind I saw the power of this tool, to develop ideas in mind maps, and make them happen in Taskboards/planner and Calendar . I’m already seeing a productivity boost at work and better organisation at home = much less stress more💵.

Would love to see a presentation mode ( had to present from imindmap recently, a shame cause I think Ayoa would have blown there socks off) I think this is coming soon though.

A great app that works. I would highly recommend. 6yrs ago

Update: I think that the web, phone and iPad apps are now starting to work well together. With the ability create branches with your fingers making everything much smoother on mobile apps. The AI particularly for starting projects and creating images is first class. Still not entirely convinced by the whiteboards but that could just be a personal thing. I think the ability to pin just the maps I use regularly on the home page, rather than having to have all of them would be another good enhancement. Still a great app and getting better. March 2026

Da fruitore decennale

Disfuzionale..

Bad compatibility while using PC maps on mobile devices.

I did all my maps on PC, and when I try to use on my smartphone or tablet, it doesn’t show my images, the chosen font and its color doesn’t apply (just on side notes, if you applied any), can’t modify the box space. The only way I found to read my maps was by clicking twice on the box and keep clicking on the “parent” tab on the right side of the “main” tab.

Overall, the PC version is good, but the mobile version is just bad.

Central part of my productivity system - as someone with Asperger/ASD

Still using this app (imindmap user previously with upgrades from v3-v11). But have downgraded rating to 4 stars.

Loss of Evernote integration, large inconsistencies in map to task behaviour between iOS and web, Dropbox and google drive link integrations don’t work on iOS, quirky Calendar integrations, and the big one: no Apple Pencil support on iOS (which is a bizarre omission).

I now use this as a stand alone app, for ideas and learning. It’s still a unique product but needs some User interface design improvements….

Not ready for Prime Time

The iOS Ayoa application is not ready primetime use. No clear way to clean up a Map. Navigation with the Apple Pencil is poor. Most of the menu options available in the web application are not available. Looks and feels a lot like an Alpha version.

Almost perfect

It just lacks linear schema and concept maps. The monthly fee is too high imho.

iMindMap was much superior

Mobile app is more difficult and slow to use.
No way to organize maps into categories.
No way to modify groups of branches for font size.
I can’t understand why the change it.

Not a great app

Limited functionality - can’t print from it
