Worst app ever
Zero customer support. Can’t login, can’t reset your password. You are just logged out of your account with no way to access anything.
This app is just another way
For the company you work for, to spy on you and everything you do on the phone you install this app on. If you cannot get a phone from your company, to install this app on, just state you are not comfortable using this app.., for personal reasons
Clock-In Issues
My company has been using BambooHR for about 6 months now, and on a weekly basis I have multiple employees reaching out to adjust their clock in times. They report that the app says that they are clocked in, but when going back into the app to clock out, it shows that BambooHR never took their clock in time. Along with that issue, the app just crashes and won’t let my employees into the app at all. The app just says that they will be down and are trying to get back up soon, and this prevents my employees from clocking in our clocking out on time. This has also happened on a weekly basis causing payroll issues.

I'm using this app because I want to get paid, not to look at your stupid ads. Especially when they are designed to appear strategically as you are trying to navigate app functions making you inadvertently open the ad.
Login bug is driving me bananas
I couldn’t figure out a better place to put this so I’ll have to update my review after it gets fixed. We are loyal Bamboo customers and in general the app works fine. However, the bug I found affects both the HR and the Hiring app. When you log in using your email and a password app (I use LastPass), the password field auto fills with your EMAIL. Every single damn time. This means I have to go copy paste my password manually from my password app. Then I have to go grab the code from the authenticator app and I usually run out of time to get it entered before the code expires and the bamboo login page resets itself to the start page with our company domain. So half the time I can’t get into the app to use it. Please fix this! In the Hiring app too, it’s the exact same problem!

My company requires me to use this app, and it shoves ads for payday loans down my throat. On the up side it at least it’s not video ads for gambling

“Notes not saving”
This time my manager is requesting notes and my notes are not saving or uploading, they have only a couple times but I do them everyday.
But there not uploading it says
“unable to update clock session data” but I’m just updating my notes.

App is or was fine. Recently started pushing pay advance loans on the main page. Just wildly inappropriate and unethical from a “HR” app.
Latest version unusable
Literally unusable - it’s an iPhone app that can’t login using passkey, and it’s not possible to log in I’m using password if you have passkey set up in BambooHR.
Deleted the app and using the website, at least that allows me to log in, but the website is obviously designed to force you to use app on the mobile. What a pain.

Not Dependable
Always give me an error or tells me there’s an issue. I can “NEVER”, login… Very POOR app!!!
Impossible to sign a form
Trying to sign a simple form was impossible - zooming redrawing was a nightmare now entering bank details - in the future if a company uses this app I think I will walk away
Garbage
Hands downs the slowest most dull interface ever. Clearly just went on YouTube and googled how to make app under 5 minutes .

Bamboo is so glitchy has so many bugs. Not the best.

The clocking app for clocking in on the exact minute takes minutes to load
Really not that great of a app
Try to check PTO and hours aren’t updated relatively often. Try to put in hours on the time sheet and sometimes the app just closes not allowing you to put in your hours. Honestly this is a pathetic excuse of a HR app. Half the time you can’t even get in contact with HR.
