Totally ridiculous I cannot transfer more than $4000 in or out of my account! What kind of bank is this?

I can’t write a review because I can’t get the update. It’s just ridiculous and frustrating that a bank app denies your request for a balance because the app doesn’t even load. What is wrong with you people? If you don’t know to make an App then don’t offer one. I’m sure you charge for an overdraft that could have been avoided if only you could review your account. The App isn’t even worth 1 star. I would say - 10

Always Easy
BankNewport has always made transactions easy for customers. Since May of 2020, I have been nothing but impressed with their services, hours of operations and accessibility. Sincere thanks to everyone in their branches. They made refinancing, opening up accounts for my children, and credit monitoring as easy as it should be.

Cannot use Face ID. And I use 32 character minimums for passwords. You try remembering that every time. It fails to authenticate every single time I launch the app. I have to close and relaunch minimum 5 times to get through. Which is a pain. My card limit cannot be raised. It denies rent for 1500$ and does not show up on their system anywhere. Nobody has been able to figure it out. And support don’t give me your generic please call this number. I did that. And jumped through hoops for hours with no resolution. I’ve already had the bad taste. I’ve looked into a new bank.

Deposit not acknowledged
An interbank check deposited from one BN account to another BN account has not been acknowledged 3 days later. The accounts have different association numbers as one is business. It is impossible to reach anyone by phone to gain assistance. Thank you.
