Perfect for migraine awareness

I love that this alerts me before pressure changes so I can prepare and/or prevent a migraine attack.

Not the great

This app isn’t that great. It constantly says the same thing. It follows Apple weather, but sometimes will say steady while Apple weather says rising or falling. The most useful thing is seeing the line is how drastically the pressure may be dropping, but Apple weather tells you that too, just not in an as clear way as this. Possibly has greater potential, but not as great as I expected it to be unfortunately.

Used to be okay (free)

But now it’s never accurate. The text below the graph says random things, like saying there’s a severe drop when it shows a stable day, or giving me notifications about something that, when I open the app, isn’t there.

Glad I didn’t have any money to pay for a subscription, because if it can’t get two days right, why would it get a week right?

Response from developer

Thank you for your honest feedback, and I’m really sorry this has been your experience. What you’re describing definitely doesn’t sound right, especially the mismatch between the graph and the daily summary text or notifications. The summary is generated based on detected pressure trends, so if it’s saying something different than what you see on the graph, that’s something we’d really like to investigate and fix Could you please reach out to our support team with a bit more detail (or a screenshot if possible)? That will help us understand exactly what’s happening on your device and get it resolved quickly.

My Go-To for Weather-Related Headaches

I’ve been using Pressure Pal for over a year, and it’s been a game changer. It gives me a heads-up on those barometric pressure drops that used to catch me off guard. Thanks to this app, I can plan ahead, manage my sinus symptoms, and feel more in control. It’s simple, but so effective!

Always confirms my suspicion

This app is great in that whenever I get a massive headache I check it and it confirms the pressure change. I will continue to use the app.

Helpful

Helpful got migraine sufferers. Gives us a better idea of what to expect from the day/ week

Kind of useless

Others may love this app, but for me it says nearly every single day, if not every day, that the pressure is “highly unstable.” I’ve tried to learn more about this, but it seems pressure goes up and down all day, just naturally. When there’s a sudden rise or fall, those can be triggers for ppl. But it’s hard to tell what triggers my migraines when it’s always telling me it’s highly unstable.

Not just Migraines

This app has helped me decide on where to live. I used to live in a very volatile state, but was in denial, but that was what was causing. My issues. We try a new state that has less barometric pressure changes. And kept track of everything on this app. I am now moving things to this app and I feel 20 years younger. If you have Ménière’s disease or anything else that might be affected by barometric pressure please use this app and help yourself.

Migraine help

Helps me understand my migraine symptoms in alignment with the pressure.

Great Daily App

Great app to monitor your daily pressure progress. I love the graph the most with the way it shows the inclines and declines in pressure since I use it for migraines. The developer is AWESOME if you have any issues or suggestions!!

Trend tracking

This app tracks trends (shows history even from before you installed the app) so you can look back on the last time you had a migraine.

Great for Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos

Outstanding!!! It really helps to see the graph and read what to expect for the day. The list of symptoms is most helpful , as is the ability to log your own experience. Nice work, and thank you.

Saving my Autoimmune Health

Since using this app I now have the “excuse” to take better care of myself. In the past I’ve pushed myself too hard. Reading the messages really speaks to me to slow down. Thank you so very much!!

All taken care of

I had trouble getting the product. They helped.

Essential tool for pressure sensitive folks

This app and its helpful tips are helping me understand my symptoms in relation to pressure and how to respond practically in order to best manage intense pressure changes. Every breakthrough helps me regain a bit of quality of life, thank you!!!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your kind words! Every bit of relief and clarity matters, and we're so glad to be a part of your progress.

They kept my money and never gave me access.

I was excited to try this and upgraded right away. First it said I could not get the seven day free trial. Then I upgraded to a higher level and it never even acknowledged it. Beware before upgrading because it will just take your money.

Pain Journal

I have been dealing with some chronic health issues and had always thought that the barometric pressure was a source of some of my pain issues. I downloaded several different barometric pressure apps and this one has been my favorite one so far. I have been talking with a disability attorney and was told that I should get air start a pain diary. This app allows me to track my pain levels and also has a place to track pain levels and include some notes. I’m so glad I found this app. I only wish it was a little more affordable for me. I need to cancel some other subscriptions so that I can keep this one.

Thank you so much for sharing this! It means a lot to hear it's been your favorite out of the ones you tried, especially during such a challenging time.

Wish you could see InHg

Biggest complaint is it only gives you the whole number for the InHg, my doctor wants me to document it two numbers past the decimal. So this does not give me the full amount of information that I need and I could not get a refund on day 6. The charge hit day 5, I tried to cancel and could not. I do enjoy having everything in one app, its just not all the information I need.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback, and I'm really sorry to hear about the trouble with the refund and the precision issue. We’re happy to share that the latest version now includes inHg as a unit option with readings shown to two decimal places just like your doctor requires.

Not Free

This app charges for everything $2.99/month for yearly, and $3.99/month for monthly PLUS $59.99 per year to compare date historically. Three stars because the app might be good if you want to pay that much. I don’t want to do a free to find out if it’s any good because I won’t pay those prices.

Always shows why my head pressure changes.

Every time my head twinges due to pressure changes I can verify I’m not going crazier than I already am.
