The interface on this app is nice and simple but has everything we need - billing, grid data, estimated backup timing. The best feature is the push notifications so we can know if something is going on with the grid or our backup system when we aren’t home.

Base power has been awesome to work with so far and this app really leaves me with some cool peace of mind whenever a big storm is coming ! Keeping my lights on
Base is the most affordable backup option in Texas. Very happy with the price and product so far. Wish all of Texas could have one of these given the problems with the grid the last few years…
Absolute wallet saver
Switched over to Base a few months ago, energy bill has been substantially lower. Battery looks beautiful compared to others, customer support is super easy to reach, and the installation was quick. Super happy I switched!!
Great monitoring, needs better history
I really appreciate the real time power usage of the app. It makes it easy monitor the impact of specific changes in the home.
I would appreciate the following changes to optimize our use of the battery system:
-battery level indicator (live and historical) preferably in kWh, but % would work as well
-battery backup duration estimate on dashboard of current use level and/or user defined level. 0.75 kW doesn’t have relevance for me.
-a detailed history of power usage over the past 24+ hours to more easily track power usage of hvac and utilities
-a way to export hourly data from past month (or year if possible)
-battery charging rate indicator (from grid and generator separately)

Home energy in my pocket
Awesome app and service that provides peace of mind for my home. Still a few features I am waiting on (integration with smart devices at home, outage history), but the billing is clear and nice to see status of my battery. Keep it up BASE team!

I find myself randomly checking the Base app all the time to see how much energy I’ve been using and what my battery is doing. I like that it supports the grid when I’m not using it. They send you a notification if the battery is backing you up so you can turn off things to extend the back up time. Been loving Base so far.

Do Not Update
I regret updating this app, it used to be nice and streamlined with a real dashboard and need to know info. Now its pretty useless to me.
Services os fine, app keeps going downhill
Others are already saying it. Bring back the battery info. I get that the battery is yours , and we should not need to worry about it. But you should have never shown it to us in the first place then.
Keep your new design that tries to be more results driven of showing how much time we have, but just also give the geeks our numbers back.
Also for a software defined energy provider, you all should have a customer facing API that we can get info from. That way we can do things in your little smart homes that would reduce our consumption of on battery.

Battery level
Battery percentage was listed on previous version but now it is gone. It’s an important piece of information specially during power outage to calculate usage and adjust accordingly.
The app is getting less useful each update
They took away the option to see the battery percentage and the time remaining doesn’t account for solar production so all the calculations aren’t really functional. Ideally it would show the percentage and kWh available on the battery.
Nicely done!
I love the new update, now I can see the battery status and how much time is available if the power goes out.
