Garbage app

Garbage app, just like other app BC government made

Devs never used an iPhone?

This seems as though developers have never used an iPhone.

I’m not talking about how this is redundant to the credentials and wallet on iPhone, but how they “activate biometrics” by just dumping the user in a setting page and not additional hints. My bank had me click a toggle (in-app), then checked my fingerprint (in-app) and we were done.

I guess the fact that these contents don’t sync to my Mac — allowing me to identify myself online from there —is another gap in this product. Sure, since there’s only two places you can use this, there’s no market currently hindered by that shortcoming, but if you don’t build it, they won’t come.

As of September 2025 the app does not accept DL, Passports, or any government issued ID. You do get a Government of BC Person digital ID, not really sure what that can be used for.
😂 person ID , gimme a break😂

Garbage

Just like the BC government to spend money on a product that doesn’t work while a working product exists. Maybe you’ve heard of a little app call Apple Wallet?

Great start

Easy to use. Now I don’t need to carry a paper Serving It Right certificate in my physical wallet. This app is obviously a work in progress to test the idea out, but I think it has a lot of potential and I hope it expands to more forms of ID issued by the Province of BC, such as drivers licenses.
