As of September 2025 the app does not accept DL, Passports, or any government issued ID. You do get a Government of BC Person digital ID, not really sure what that can be used for.
😂 person ID , gimme a break😂

Garbage

Just like the BC government to spend money on a product that doesn’t work while a working product exists. Maybe you’ve heard of a little app call Apple Wallet?

Great start

Easy to use. Now I don’t need to carry a paper Serving It Right certificate in my physical wallet. This app is obviously a work in progress to test the idea out, but I think it has a lot of potential and I hope it expands to more forms of ID issued by the Province of BC, such as drivers licenses.

Crashes/Freezes

This App is always freezing. It’s annoying having to delete it and downloading it again. Happens once every week.

Make it working

This App has never been in working condition, please do something!

Unusable

Also…. Thought I could get a digital license for my Apple wallet.
Maybe plans for future, but right now seems useless. Probably will delete.

Disappointed

Useless at present for BC Drivers until we can get licenses uploaded on BC Wallet

Great place to store digital credentials

Top notch wallet for storing digital credentials. I’ve tested with the Showcase demo app and it works well and is easy to use. Loving it.

How do you add anything to this app?

It won’t even scan my license. I hope, if it’s actually possible to add anything, this stores cards in the iOS Wallet app. Otherwise, kind of useless and redundant.

I can’t wait for digital licenses. This app should not exist.

If you are going to release something for “testing purposes only”, release it using Apples test flight — not to the general public.

Got my hopes up!

PS I hope when we adopt digital identification, we use supported first-party APIs in Google and Apple, not solely an app by BC Gov.
