BCN Trees

BCN Trees puts every tree in Barcelona in your pocket: more than 220,000 trees in streets, squares and parks, with their species, family and location. WHAT YOU CAN DO • See every tree on the map, colored by family, and tap any of them to find out its species. • Discover the city's heritage and locally significant trees. • See what's in bloom this month and when each species flowers. • Find the trees near you and get walking directions to them. • Browse photos of each species: leaf, flower, fruit, bark and overall shape. • Go out and discover trees with monthly challenges, guided walks and a singular trees album, and earn badges. • Save your favorite trees and share them with other people in the app. • Add trees that aren't in the inventory: take a photo and the app helps you identify the species with Pl@ntNet. FREE AND PREMIUM Exploring the map is free. You can add 5 new trees a month at no cost. With BCN Trees Premium (monthly subscription) you can add unlimited trees and get more Pl@ntNet identifications per tree. OPEN DATA The tree inventory comes from Open Data BCN (Barcelona City Council) and is updated every quarter. Trees added by users are reviewed before they're published. The subscription renews automatically every month unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage and cancel it in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
