Beddit sleep monitor
I use 3 sleep trackers. I mostly need to know my heart rate throughout the night and what times I’m out of bed. Very reliable monitor.
Doesn’t always stay in place. I have to readjust it sometimes.
Minor irritation with note keyboard not having a return key in abc mode.

So far so good
I rate 4 stars because I would like to rate again once I’ve used this product for at least 90 days. The product is trending towards a 5 star rating but I want to test all features over an extended proof of time
Want to love it!
I really want to love this monitor but it has some issues. The latest being it’s recording my sleep but on the wrong day. Last night was Thursday but this morning it recorded it on Friday. And as for any type of support FORGET IT! Apple doesn’t even recognize the product apparently!! Maybe it’ll get better

Poor hardware and software
Had it for 2 years and from last few months the heart rate stopped working and automatic tracking doesn’t work.

Beddit App Issues
I have always liked my Beddit system. But when Apple bought Beddit, they made no real updates to the app and then changed the system, pretty much crippling the system for those of us who supported Beddit from the start. The app quits almost every other night! As far as I can tell, Apple never made an upgrade available to us as early adopters at a discounted rate to try to keep us. Very disappointed!

Stole my money
I had this device and app for years and I pod a lot of money for it. It worked great. 5 stars. Then they came out with a newer version and the unit I owned became bricked and useless!!!! Beware when the developers get greedy they just disable what you Bought and try to force you to buy a newer version. It was too expensive. This should be illegal and shame on Apple for allowing this type of thing to happen. Again buyer beware the device worked until the developers decided that they wanted more money. My perfectly great devices stopped working Well the device worked fine I’m sure. It just would t work with the required App. So shame on them I will never recommend this company to anyone ever again!!!!!!!!
Buyer beware

Better than 3.5
I’ve been using bet it since it first came out to three years ago. We love it! And it is getting better over the years. We just got 3.5 and we’re very disappointed. Every two or three days it wouldn’t work for my wife or me. It also did not have the ram sleep cycles. Looking forward version 4.0 that integrates the best of three and 3.5.

Confusing at first but now it’s great
When I first started using this device & app, I was really confused. (And I read all the literature provided!) I was used to my Fitbit tracking my sleep on my wrist & communicating it to the app. So there was some bumbling and aggravation with the way it was measuring at first...
But now that I’ve gotten the hang of it, I like it. It’s interesting to see how I did each night and I look forward to checking it each morning.

Pas fiable
Je suis désolé mais Beddit ne fonctionne pas très bien. On ne peux pas se fier à cette application. Je ne recommande pas cette app.
Simple & comfortable, useful rich data, reliable.
I have been using the Beddit for many months now & am very pleased with it. I love that I do not have to wear anything on my wrist. The strip sensor is sensitive, reliable, and stays in place very well. I don’t notice it at all. The app doesn’t drain my phone overnight, though I am often charging it while it works. The app is super easy to use & makes it easy to review both the details of each night, and my history and trends. The notes & hashtag features mean I can track & look for factors that may impact my sleep quantity and quality immediately and over time. It lets me tweak things to improve my sleep hygiene and habits. I would love to see integration of main data with Apple Health now that Apple owns it. Occasionally the phone app and sensor fail to connect, but I now make it a habit to verify that by using the manual mode instead of the automatic mode, and lightly touching the sensor to make sure it is linked and properly positioned each night. The Beddit has made a huge improvement in my sleep after years of struggling with insomnia and wondering why I was tired all the time. Please continue support, and please develop integration with the central Heath tracker. Good sleep is the foundation for EVERYTHING supporting good health. Without regular, adequate quality sleep nothing else can be improved.

Where is Beddit 3.5?!!!!!!!!!!
The way Apple’s doing soon you’re gonna hit $1 worth company!!
Happy with Beddit —beats any Watch App capability
This is the best device currently that works with your iPhone. Apple purchased Beddit a couple of years ago if you weren’t aware of it.
The only better alternative is a collection of medical devices which usually only come with a sleep study. The problem with a sleep study is likely impairment of sleep with all the wires attached to measure brain waves, breathing and heart rate, blood oxygen sensor and sensor on face for apnea sensing.
The Beddit strap under you is much better than existing Apple Watch Apps, which can be somewhat misleading. I know this as I have been using one of the best Apple Watch Apps simultaneously with Beddit and also keep a paper log of wakings and back to sleep times.
I’m very happy with the Beddit monitor to rate it 5 stars. I look forward to Apple improving the Beddit system none-the-Less.
I hope Apple doesn’t just try to put it all into a Watch-only app. I don’t see how respiration could be accurate with only the Watch. And I doubt the Watch could differentiate moving your hand position versus trunk movement or leg movement. ( note: Beddit can’t differentiate leg movement and does not currently differentiate arm movement if you are wearing the Watch).

Everything is fine!
I like the app and the sensor it’s easy to set. The smart alarm is working properly, despite some comments I saw below. You got to have the phone not in silence and the volume up otherwise is not going to work!!!
Wake up rested
The main reason I bought this sleep-tracker is the smart alarm feature, — I’ve got used to waking up more naturally, so to speak. This app provides what expected, and a little bit more.
Automatic measurement doesn’t work.
It worked for a few months but doesn’t now. The troubleshooting snd faq don’t help. Have to switch on.
Great tool for tracking my sleep
Easy to set up and use. I love the info it provides about hours slept, heart rate, etc. And now I know how often snoring is an issue. I’m actually making sleep a priority now.
It mutes all sound From the phone
I like the information it gives. It works well. However, if you also want to listen to White Noise at night or a relaxation audio, it will bring down the volume by more than half. I haven’t found Anyway around that. I understand that is it is trying to listen for snoring, but I should be able to turn that off. After I have told beddit that I am up, it was still mute the sound of other apps for a few minutes.

Warning: You cannot use Beddit and Bluetooth audio devices at the same time..
Very interesting, useful app/device with regard to monitoring and encouraging sleep.
That being said, when you’re in bed and Beddit is running, you will not be able to use other Bluetooth devices, like your AirPods and HomePod. Which of course is very frustrating if you like to listen to or watch something to relax before bedtime. Including that little detail in the product description would have been greatly appreciated.
And if you think using your iPhone/iPad’s built-in speaker is an acceptable workaround, plan on the volume always being reduced by 50% while Beddit is on.. Equal parts annoying and weird :/
To add further insult to injury, there’s a giant red bar at the top of the screen at all times that Beddit is being used, like how the green bar appears at the top of the screen when you’re on a phone call. Thanks Sherlock, I really need to have that constant reminder, as though I didn’t install and choose to use this thing in the first place.

Rubbish - used to work well not anymore
I’ve had Beddit for about 2 years now. It used to work pretty well and the results were fairly accurate.
I use it now and the smart alarm doesn’t work. The heart rate monitor no longer works. To be honest I think from the moment I press ‘Sleep’ and ‘I’m Up’ (the next day), any old results are recorded and not the true sleep pattern. The reason I say this is because I can be awake watching TV before bed and it shows this as sleep. I can get up and go to the toilet 2-3 minutes and this isn’t shown as ‘awake’ or ‘out of bed’. How can we trust the rest of it?
Big thumbs down don’t waste your money!

Finally... a device that works consistently and accurately
Whitings and Garmin Vivoctive 3, both wrist based, capture only a fraction of my sleep. With Beddit I get consistent (and accurate) performance which allows me to better see where to make adjustments in my sleep habits.
