Notification not working?
First I love love love this app for letting me connect with people without using SNS apps, it has saved me a lot of time.
I just noticed that notifications deliver late — usually for about an hour and even up to half a day — unless I open the app. I’d appreciate it if they arrive on time without having to open the app!

IG without the reels
This is THE app on iOS to keep the DMs from IG without having to get on the app and be exposed to the rest. It works flawlessly except for one minor nitpick, and it’s sending videos. I do understand that handling large files in an app is always a complex from a development point of view, and from what I gather, Beeper uses the IG Web’s API which can be limiting. From my personal stress tests, keep your videos to about 30MB and you should be good. Also be careful of batch sending as well.
Aside from that, I enjoy using this and the devs are active with updates!

Отличное приложение, пользуюсь постоянно, очень удобно все мессенджеры в одном приложении.
У нас в России не хватает ещё, чтоб можно было подключить vk messenger и Max messenger. Не планируете сделать? Думаю прибавилось бы много пользователей из России.

Beeper doesn't currently support wearable devices like Amazfit watches, and Beeper isn't affiliated with Amazfit. If your watch mirrors phone notifications, you'll still get basic Beeper alerts there, but nothing beyond that for now. Reach out anytime with questions!"
Makes you change Instagram
Instagram detects it’s a third party and will ban your email making you change it if it detects Beeper. Had to change email 3 times.

I can’t live without this app. Makes navigating all my friend groups and chats so much simpler.

I have been trying to reduce my Instagram use by putting screen time limits, but DMs were always important for me to maintain. Beeper lets me keep my DMs even without the instagram app which is a great use case that is unadvertised. Love this app, works perfectly as expected!

I love this app and so happy to use it everyday. I felt like I spent my days switching between messenger, signal, and whats app and it’s been so nice to unify those chats. I also have loved connecting Instagram so I get reels and messages in beeper which has helped to lower my screen time on socials. Love love love

Saved me from Doomscrolling
I’ve been so annoyed because every time I open instagram to reply to messages I end up doom scrolling. I tried downloading Meta’s messenger but it works terribly and doesn’t actually send things from your same instagram account, it was a whole mess. Beeper has a clean interface and perfectly syncs my instagram chats. Sending posts also works wonderfully, sometimes you don’t even have to actually click on the link itself since beeper transforms the post into an image. Amazing app!!

Such an amazing initiative i so wanna pay the pro just to support the mission, getting us out of social media and doomescrolling, too bad that the memberships are too expensive, unfortunately most messaging apps are free forever which doesnt give us the incentive to pay, maybe if there was something for 25£ peryear, there would be more people paying

I will genuinely pay for the code to it. Oh my goodness gracious this app is amazing. PLEASE keep it going. Or sell the code if you dont feel like keeping it up. It is genuinely amazing and such a great app i dont have words. My only wish, for kids with strict parents, can you maybe add a calculator function? so that way you cant see messages without typing in the numbers? Or have a hidden folder thats impossible to access or even see without typing in certain things?

Massively Improved
I’ve been a user since the very beginning but gave up as I found the UI too clunky. Decided to try again and WOW what a difference. Absolutely incredible design and seems much more stable now. I only wish Apple would open up to enabling iMessage, or at least SMS to be able to add those chats and then it would be perfect. Overall though this is a really well maintained and useful app for bringing multiple message accounts together.
