Won't show all of my messenger chats
This has potential but it loads some new and a bunch of really old messenger chats and the ones I use most don’t show up at all. I've tried to reconnect and I've also tried the app on my iPad abc the desktop Mac app. Same issue. I can’t use it.

A WASTE OF TIME!
Not only does it stop synching your messages after awhile, you can’t simply log back in with buttons that don’t even work. This needs to be fixed.

Just downloaded the app and you can selected from the drop down for other reactions when reacting friends messages

I just wish I could modify/customize chats’ name, so I would know who is who when I’m texting.
And if possible, please add a function that allows me to merge different chats from different platforms under the same person.

Great application with a minor issues
Overall, I’m really enjoying this app. I have one small issue with telegram: all of my archived channels keep showing up in beeper
Helped me wean off reels
Beeper helped me uninstall instagram to avoid constant doomscrolling while still allowing me to message friends and view reels they sent me (but no more)
For 5 stars they should figure out how to use WhatsApp without having it installed because what’s the point of using beeper if I’ve to install the WhatsApp app anyways, for Instagram this isn’t an issue as they let u use it without the app

This app saved me from my reels addiction it’s so helpful and it allowed me to finally delete insta for good I love this app so much and I’ve been a huge fan and user for years. Lifesaver
I had some issues setting up a few accounts but after the latest patch I have all my accounts set up properly and it actually saves me so much time from doom scrolling and has made it so much easier to reply to people. Thank you.
GREAT but just one thing
i started using this app recently because i wanted to stay off instagram. however it was difficult since a lot of people messaged me on there, so i couldn’t completely cut it off. this app helps me check on messages without having to open instagram, so i really appreciate that :) my only issue is with the notifications. for some reason it doesn’t send me notifications when i receive a message from instagram. so i don’t really know when someone sends me something, leaving me to check on the app every now and then. my notifications are on as well, but i still don’t receive anything. if this can be fixed, that would be great.

Useful Resource, Great Team
Beeper has been a great way to stay connected with friends & family through social media without needing to have the apps on my phone (fellow grass touchers unite!). It’s also great to have everything streamlined into one app. Also, the few times I’ve reached out to Beeper support, they’ve been very responsive and willing to work through issues with me. Big respect to the team and to this app, I highly recommend it!

So bad it’s caused bugs on mobile
The Beeper desktop app is just bad. What’s worse is it seems like development on it is causing the mobile app to rot.
I recently had my pins for discord disappear from mobile. The reason was apparently cause I hadn’t opened the desktop app in months. Cause I don’t want to. It’s janky devolves into being a massive resource hog.
Beeper’s desktop and mobile apps are hitting a point where they’re almost worthless, regularly requiring you to have to open the chat app you hoped Beeper would replace. Want to get rid of discord or facebook messenger, too bad you’re not gonna with Beeper they’re not remotely close to even being in feature parity form a text perspective. Want to send a gif, it makes little sense to use either of Beepers apps where it just plain sucks to do it vs others. Facebook messenger used to be great on the service, now I can’t get it to work cause I want use messenger with a disabled Facebook account. I think you can do, could do in beeper, and they removed the function of.
You’d think Beeper being based on Matrix would mean it has decent support for that? Nope. It’s abysmal, arguably the worst client you can use for Matrix in how much of Matrix’s basic chat functions aren’t supported.
I’m starting to feel like when Beeper manifested they knew they’d never achieve a universal chat app and that’s why they sold to Automatic so quickly.

maybe the app is good but it doesn't work with telegram. the code doesn't arrive. i’ve trying for over a month :/
Excellent pour couper le scroll, mais la recherche bugge
Beeper est une excellente application qui remplit parfaitement son rôle pour centraliser ses messageries. Dans mon cas, l'utiliser pour Instagram est une vraie libération : cela me permet de répondre à mes messages directement ici et m’empêche totalement de scroller bêtement sur le fil d'actualité. Une vraie appli de productivité !
Cependant, deux points méritent d'être améliorés :
1. Le plus bloquant : la recherche de contacts ne fonctionne pas bien. Si je veux envoyer un message à quelqu'un avec qui je n'ai pas de discussion récente, Beeper ne trouve pas la personne. Je suis obligé de repasser par mon navigateur pour lancer la discussion, ce qui casse un peu le principe.
2. Plus secondaire, mais quand on clique sur le profil des gens, y compris le notre, on ne peut pas voir leurs stories.
Si ces quelques limitations techniques (notamment la recherche) sont corrigées, ce sera un sans-faute et un 5 étoiles bien mérité !
