A must have for behavior observations!
This app is a fantastic tool for tracking on and off-task behavior. Its real-time data collection helped me monitor behavior patterns effortlessly. Wouldn’t Recommend
It’s very easy to lose observations on here. I started an observation and got distracted and wasn’t able to close it out. When I went back to the app all the notes and observational data were gone.
Disappointed
I’ve made a few observations using this app today and sent the data via email to myself. However, I did not receive any of the observations. Also, not sure why there’s an option to export the data when that function does not work. Definitely bummed that the observations aren’t saved automatically.

I am sorry you had that experience. The data is likely stuck in your outbox. Sometimes just going to that folder, sends it out.
Simple & Efficient !
I enjoy using this app for functional behavior assessments and when I need to observe students in the classroom or in a social setting. It is completely customizable which is awesome ! You can export the data easily and in a way that is understandable to anybody trying to read your data (table, bar graph, or excel sheet)! This app is such a great way to collect accurate data !

Super easy & efficient to use!
I was introduced to this app as a school psychologist practicum student and it was very easy and efficient to use! A highlight is that you can customize your templates. You can also set it so that you can compare your student to a random student. There is also a section to take notes! I like to send the results to my email as a table and then copy and paste it onto my report as it is very easy to read and interpret. I highly recommend this app!

Adding behaviors
I like this app and it is pretty easy to use, but I wish that I could add more behaviors for the momentary time sample observation. It would be helpful to be able to add up to 20 instead of 10 behaviors. That way I do not have to constantly pause to add notes on what behavior the child was engaging in.

It is extremely useful for direct observations of students. The templates component allows users to save specific observation templates and utilize them when going into classrooms. 11/10 recommended this app to anyone involved in professions that require observations.

Easy, fun and dependable
Hi all, fellow school psychologist here. I downloaded this app about a year ago. It provides nice charts to crop into reports which make explaining the data much easier to parents and the rest of the IEP team. It also provides objective data, no subjectivity here- just the facts. Great idea, Export issues
This app would be really helpful but the app won’t let me export any of the data I collect and i am u able to send an email from the app to report the issue

I really love this app, but it is not exporting. I do have mail on, and am signed in. When I press send my email does come up, but to press send on the email, it remains grey and does not let me complete the send. I went to the website to get assistance on this, and it was not helpful.
I am hoping the developer writes back to this, and advises me how to fix this issue. I can then give this app a much higher rating!

Quick and Easy To Use
This app is a great way to conduct observations and get good, sound data. Very easy to use, and you can customize and create templates to your preference! Additionally, it helps that it’s very user friendly. I’m not incredibly technologically gifted, but I was able to use this with no issues last school year!

Great app for data collection. Very easy to use. Only issue is that once you exit out the data is gone if you don’t email it to yourself. It would be nice if the app had a pop up that said “Are you sure you want to exit without saving/sending your data?”

Thank you for your feedback! There currently is a pop-up notifying users that the data gathered will be deleted once they return to the main screen. In the next update, data will be saved and users will be able to re-access it.
Waste of Money
Don’t waste your money. This app does not keep any data or provide any analysis. Everything has to be exported. For a free app, that’d be understandable. Honestly I’d rather just put excel on my iPhone! Waste!!!!
Great visual information for parents and colleagues
This app has really helped my observations become visual information for parents, teachers and administrators. My observations are easier to read and understand. A GREAT bonus is the ability to compare the student to a peer. The comparison can paint a clearer picture of the student in the classroom or school setting. I find it great, easy to use, present and discuss.

Not a true collection tool.
This app is impractical for classroom use. There is no way to save data and continue to collect it over time. You have to export the data immediately or loose it. This is impractical in a classroom setting. This app is not made for teachers.

Good app if you only need to take data on dimension of the behavior. It would be helpful if I could take frequency and duration data simultaneously.

Excellent way to organize observation data.
I make columns on a piece a paper w the category names. I records details under the columns (for example, impulsivity). This amazing app allow me to write the descriptive data and easily support it when my observations. My write ups section now takes a fraction of the time bc my format is set. Thank you!

I like the ability to type on observations. I think it would be more useful if it would print data and notes on one page. Also I wish it would calculate percentage of behavior. Ex: 17 % off task

Thank you for your feedback. The app calculates the percentages when you complete the entire observation period. (If you stop the observation before the set time, it doesn’t calculate percentages because the data would be inaccurate). I too want the charts and qualitative data to be on the same page. Stay tuned. :)
