Not great for small amounts
I haven’t made money with them, only lost like $10
How do I see each account’s holding?
How do I see the total balances and the holdings for each account (Roth and Traditional IRA) separately? Without doing my own manual tabulations?
they lost all my money then charged me fees for maintaining it 🤩
after years of investing, my net gain was negative 200% !! 🙏 amazing 😍 if i wanted to gamble away my retirement fund i would’ve gone to the casino and done it with a drink in my hand
Misleading
The hype: “deposit $50 and let AI do the work… check back in a few months to finds you have THOUSANDS…”
The reality: I’ve been depositing $50 every 2 weeks for almost 3 months. I have LOST money! Not a lot, be certainly not the magic AI money making machine it suggests it is.

Cannot easily change my investments
Your instructions for managing investments in the mobile app are inaccurate. They do not match what is on the app. At
Suggestion
I generally love using this app but I’d really like the function to exclude some accounts from total net worth — for example, I have a shared savings account with my partner that I’d rather leave out of personal asset calculation.
TOO MANY APP UPDATES
Every time I open this app I have to download a new update. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. And when I tried to politely email this theres no way to contact them. Is it an easy access high yield savings account? Yes. Unfortunately when we opened it was 4.5 percent and down its way down. My husband says thats based on federal interest rates but either way, we’re not making as much now from our money but it’s still way better than a regular checking/savings account. And easy to move money in and out.

It’s hard to navigate through the app.
Great app and Financial Catch All
My wife and I use better for our main joint checking account, joint High Yield Savings Accounts, Joint Taxable Investment Accounts, and Individual IRAs. The app is user friendly, the service is great, International and ATM fees are reimbursed, the investing is as easy as it gets, and it’s seamless to have all accounts under one roof. Couldn’t be happier!

Slow transfers
Love the app. Love the company. Love the features. Biggest frustration is how long it takes to send and receive money. Even within the Betterment app from checking to savings, it can take up to three business days. That is just not acceptable with all the competition out there.
Opaque
I have to jump through the hoop to find dates and amounts of trades. Merrill edge spells out each trade. Why can’t Betterment?
Misleading withdrawal
Got a message saying that they would take 1-3 business days to get me my money, it has been six business days, and I still have not gotten it. This is not the first time this has occurred, other than that is a great app.

No option to turn off direct reinvestment or “drip”

Really good set up/ the daily ATM limit for this world is a bit low but enjoying Betterment.

They like to hold your funds even after clearing. Never using this trash again. 0 stars.

Really like this he app and everything but don’t like how you can’t instant transfer your money that’s a real inconvenience

I’ve been using betterment around 10 years now. After my great experience I decided to put my life savings of a couple million in. Returns were 30% last year
