Why the obligatory sound?
Would love to know why the alarm sound feature can’t be turned completely off so you can just wake up to the light. The lowest setting is 10% and the least offensive sound is the bird noise, but even that gets a bit much on a loop.
Lacking functionality
Very simple features available. Would be incredible if a few extra options like a on timer was available, and also if a default mood colour could be set. Eg. Switch on in the morning and gradually increase until a certain time. Or switch on red light in the evening for two hours.
Please add more sleep sound options

No silent alarms
Please allow mute or “Silent” for the alarm sound. Since an update, I can’t set the wake up light to zero volume, nor keep off the sounds. I want to use the sunrise feature without any sounds. Please fix this.

I’ve own my device for approximately six years. The app was terrible back then but it functioned are you uninstalled it for a couple of years and here I am today trying it again but now I can’t even add a device it just gets stuck on a loading screen. I’ve tried all the basic troubleshooting steps that ordinary tech support would try. I’m not sure if this is just a bug as I am one of a few that are on 18.2 but this is not an excuse and the whole app is just incredibly disappointing.

Display corrupted
Intermittent invalid characters showing in the display on unit. If app is used, the display sometimes corrects and displays an actual valid time (or radio station, etc). Otherwise invalid characters are a nuisance. Unplugging for a while and plugging back in made no difference.
App Does No Function
I get an error that says “failed to control device!” Intermittently. Any changes I make are not saved. Terrible UI.
Such high hopes 😟
I had such high hopes for this… The clock appears to connect seamlessly and I set the alarm without issue but… when the the alarm goes off I cannot control the device from within the app; I just get “X Fail to Control the device”
I seem also to have 2 WL75 devices showing; I have tried reinstalling the app, and restarting my iPad, but to no avail.

Great idea But it doesn't work !
You can never get to connect and need your phone all of the time. So easier just to use phone. Expense mistake in buy one.
White noise stops after an hour. :(
This app generally covers all the basics, but it is truly unfortunate that it requires a timer on the sleep aide soundtracks, and that timer can not go past one hour, which isn’t even a full REM cycle.
It’s mating season for some kind of bird that has been announcing itself outside my window from 5am to 7:30 am for the past week. I need the white noise to help mask that blasted bird’s mating calls, without waking up at five, then 6, then 7 to turn the white noise back on, and there is no programming logic reason I can think of that the app should require a timer.
I’d give it a full five stars if it just let me use the advertised product functionality for a full night’s sleep. I hope that they make an update to let us just turn it on and leave it running, but it’s been like two years sincei downloaded it, and no dice. :/

Great light, rubbish app
I love this light. Waking up with it makes morning so much easier and you are not jolted awake. BUT the app is terrible. Often refuses to connect and I have to unplug and plug it back in to get the Bluetooth to work. After the latest update you can no longer choose to have 0% volume on the sound. Considering the price of this light and the fact you can really only operate it fully using the app, I would not recommend at all. Choose a different brand.

A piece of junk
This device is more trouble than it’s worth. Most of the time it won’t connect to my phone, so I cannot change the alarm times. It does not automatically change time during daylight savings. And the speakers sound tinny. Not worth the cost!
Keeps crashing
I keep getting a messsge that the app can’t control the light. Crashes when I try to adjust the alarm

Since an update, I can’t set the wake up light to zero sounds. I want to use the sunrise feature without any sounds. Please fix this.
I can’t disable sound
The only problem with the app is that the sound accompanying the light cannot be disabled in wake-up mode. You must choose a buzzer, radio or their menu of sounds such as waves etc. The lowest volume setting however is 10% which means you cannot have the wake up light without sound. I find the light coming up to imitate dawn is good, but I do not want or need any sound. You can set it to play the radio untuned to any station but you still get an irritating low hiss to accompany the dawn light. No good. Please let sound be set to 0% and allow it to be used without sound.There is no good reason to make sound mandatory. The choice should be the users not the app designer. Sorry but this really detracts from what is basically a good product. Let us have a no sound option.

Glitchy app let’s the product down
Bought this as an alarm a couple of years ago, was working fine until recently but not the app is glitchy and doesn’t let me set the alarm… just automatically closes every time I go on it. really let’s the product down, having to rely on such a crappy app. Please fix.
What happened to zero setting for alarm sounds?
This WAS great, but the zero sound setting for the alarm disappeared?! I like the light in the morning, but not sound. You fixed something that wasn’t broken 😞
