Disappointed

Please change the ui back to what it was like in the old app! What was the point of changing the whole entire app from what it was? As multiple others are saying it is now less user friendly and nothing like the original app which was very simple to use. When I tried to export my friends from the other app it always says nothing was imported and I don’t know how to fix this so I’ve just lost all of my conversations and friends from the other app. Also it keeps giving me people from Lebanon Kansas on my main feed even though i live in Canada and my settings are set within a few kms from me? Like what? I beg of you change it back to the original and everyone will be happy again 🙏

Privacy Concerns, Deleted my Account Immediately

I've been using the old BFF app for many years to make new friends in several cities, but I will stop using BFF entirely if this new app replaces it. This new app isn't compatible with the way I make friends.

After importing my profile from the old BFF app, I immediately deleted my account on the new app because I didn't feel safe.
(1) The app shows my granular location down to my neighbourhood. I don't want strangers to see exactly where I live or travel within a city.
(2) All my old matches seem to have received an automated message that I have joined the new app. This is very awkward if a former friend and I have stopped talking. I wish there was a way to preserve the swiping history without sending an automated message to all my past matches.
(3) I can't find the option to enable Incognito Mode, which is the reason I had
paid for the previous app.

Please keep the old app. I won’t be using BFF at all if I must transition to this new app. The features that made me feel safe initiating one-on-one connections in the old BFF app seem to have disappeared in the new app. The new app seems like a big privacy risk for younger women.

Trash

The old bumble BFF was way better because it was easier to get matches and I noticed that I was matching with a lot more potential friends and people more willing to talk and hang out this app I’ve had for 2 years now and I still haven’t made not one meaningful connection that has even made it off of the app. Most girls stop responding after a few messages and it never leads into texting or going out. I barely get any matches on here and it’s way less productive than the old version. Definitely will be deleting this today

Inferior version of original app

Very disappointed to see that bumble has switched their interface to be more like discord than an app actually focused on building friendship, as someone who has made many friends from the old app I’m sad to see it go, but I used the new app and I can say that it’s not very user friendly. 1. The app is very confusing to navigate, there’s a people section, a handshake wave and a group section that can be confusing to new users and looks very disorganized in comparison to the old app, it’s very busy. 2. It’s hard to find local groups in my city, whenever I try to search my city in the groups section nothing pops up I have to find the groups on other peoples profiles, which makes me wonder if they want people to meet up at all. 3. No option to filter by common interests, I don’t have a way to make friends that align with my principles and no way to filter out traits I don’t want in a friend. 4. Very focused on group engagement and less emphasis on one on one friendships, the key ways I was able to make friends off the old app was through the one on one chats, with the emphasis on group chats it will be difficult to make friends in a 100 people moderated group. 5. Feels very unnecessary as there was nothing wrong with the original app and was very well known, now it will take months or even years to get people to move to this new app. 6. I imagine many people won’t move to this new app as there’s already a discord and other apps that are the same thing.
