Awful app
There are so many issues, the app never load. It looks like a child built it and it takes forever to connect to the device

After buying this I noticed the App has really bad ratings. After trying for two days to link up the camera we are left w a nice feeder…without a camera. Don’t buy this one

Request Timeout
I can view the live feed, and I get notifications when a bird is feeding. I can then record to my photos. But, when I try to view a recorded event, I consistently get a “Request Timeout”. However, once in a while, I can view an event. No idea, what makes the app work once in a while.
Amazing Camera, Trash App
I have to constantly close out the app and reopen it to hopefully get it to work and play my videos. App won’t let me save my videos. App just does not work. They need to fix this junk app.

Getting Better
Still and issue when switching g to full screen video. The view does not always rotate to landscape. When it does, part of the image is cut off. You can see the Bilantan watermark is off screen. I still use the other app and enjoy the feeder. Looking forward to continued progress.
Getting Better
The developer is continuing to make progress on this app, and the bird feeder is now functional. I am notified of events when a bird is feeding, and can open the app and record the activity. This video is then stored in my photo album. The app also automatically makes recordings of events, and these can be viewed, but the upload function on the app is not yet working.

If the app would just work
The app and customer service is horrible. Customer service said the new update would fix all the issues I reported. Updated today and nothing is fixed, and the download failed error message is in Chinese. If the app would just work, it would be great because the camera works great.
Videos
I cannot get the videos to play and I purchased an SD card.
APP DOES NOT WORK
App will not play videos back. It just says timeout. I’ve been trying to get this to work for a month and a half. Tech Support keeps saying they’re coming out with a new version of the app, but it STILL does not work. It will finally record videos, but it will NOT play them back. DO NOT WASTE YOIR MONEY ON THIS DEVICE.

Does not notify you when birds are there and constantly disconnects.
Not easy to use or understand
We received this feeder as a Christmas gift. We can see the birds, but can’t share our birds. Have not found easy to understand information on how to use this camera.
Junk
So far, the only thing I can do is watch live. The app continually says to upgrade firmware but when I clink on the prompt the pop up says firmware already updated. I get no alerts of birds at my feeder. I have another one that has a far superior app and notifies me in real time when a bird is present. This seems like complete junk.

works as a live feed
Camera does not send notifications when a bird comes nor does it record or save any video unless prompted. The only way I have been able to see the birds is by viewing it live and hoping some show up. Cannot get in touch with support, and as others have said an “update firmware” pops up every few seconds despite the app saying it’s up to date

This app feels vibe coded. It’s not even funny how many bugs there are. Chinese dudes get your act together.
App doesn’t work
The app doesn’t allow me to do anything on it. I can’t do anything besides watch my live stream.
Great Setup Bad App
The hardware setup seems great as far as the camera and quality along with the construction of the feeder. The app is not good. There are misspelled words and full screen viewing does not always work. I constantly get a pop up for firmware but it is already up to date.
Best Smart Bird Feeder on the market!
I got this for my husband, but once installed it has been a joy for all of us. Very easy to put together and fill. Zero issues with the really useful app. The pictures they record are great, and they identify the birds, so we are learning all about them.
