Also froze my phone when I opened the app one day. I’m glad I saw the other review so I knew what to do. I couldn’t even shut my phone off I had to do the hard reset also and delete the app
Great Camera Terrible App
This feeder takes beautiful video but viewing the video is an exercise in frustration. It needs a complete redesign.

Can’t adjust recording length, and push notifications don’t work. Camera settings VERY limited. App needs to be completely redone!

The actual product had good reviews when I purchased it, I was not aware of the issues with the app until setting it up. Within 24 hours the app sent a pop up on my locked iPhone requesting access to send communications. I tried to decline based on the feedback from the reviews. This locked my phone up, the pop-up was covering my login screen. Even the slide toggle to turn the phone off was not functioning. I had to do a hard reset on my phone and immediately deleted the app. If you just want an expensive birdfeeder - go for it. The camera appears to be quality, however, there is no way I would trust the app. Therefore the camera is useless.

Frustrating
App is fairly difficult to use. Bird identification is ludicrous - it identified a ruby throated hummingbird as a fork-tailed storm petrel.

This app is incredibly frustrating to use. It shows that there are “events” (bird video recordings) and even displays a photo from the event, but you can’t enlarge the photo to preview it. When you tap the image to view the video, it never loads! Instead, it just says “No event at this time,” even though the photo has a timestamp for that exact moment!
Customer support was unclear and unhelpful. They said you have to “wake” the camera before you can view footage from the SD card. That’s both ridiculous and unnecessary. No other functioning camera system requires a manual wake-up step to access saved footage. And even after doing that, it still doesn’t work!
Very disappointed, especially considering the high cost of the device and the poor app performance. This needs serious improvement.

Absolutely awful
I need this app for bird feeder camera, its AI is useless for bird identification. It’s unfortunate, we have other app for different bird feeders that work great.
App scans your network
Warning: this app scans your network sniffing for open ports on devices even with “local network access” disabled!!
I was troubleshooting some issues (as others have reported) with inconsistent connectivity. Checking my network router, I see this app is trying to access other devices on the network even with local network access disabled. It’s potentially fraudulent that it is searching your network in the first place, more so when the access is disabled. Very scary and risky to all your devices and information on your network!
Remove this app!

Just got it, got my phone setup fine, but cannot get my wife’s phone to setup camera. Undoubtedly if you and your wife want to watch same camera, you have to have 2 different email addresses in order for both of you to watch same camera. Ridiculous
Lots of permissions, no connection
Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, it’s glitchy. So far, connected device with a micro sd card in it but always shows as ‘offline’.
Not User Friendly
I don’t know why, but this app locks up continuously each time I try to get to tutorial videos. Very frustrating. When I scan the QR CODE on camera it takes me to 3M™ Automatic Backwash

High quality camera tons of fun
This is a great bird feeder, holds a lot of bird seed and has lots of different ways to hang it. The camera has a really high quality image and the app is super easy to use. Within 24 hours, I had tons of cool videos of birds very very close up. The AI even seems to identify them correctly (even squirrels). If you choose to sound the siren when a squirrel is on there, it DOES work. Can't promise the squirrel won't come back though 😃. All in all, great product.

We love this bird feeder!
The app is easy to use, you can see who visited that day, or even go back on the calendar and see past visits. You can share video access to your camera as well so that your friends or family can also enjoy it. It is easy to set up, and the solar panel keeps things charged up. We have never had to charge ours since we set it up.
