Free version is useless
When you record, the bird calls, it doesn’t do anything with them, there’s no way of identifying the bird that you’re listening to.

Difficult to navigate. Screen locks when a dialogue box opens. Have to close phone down .
Bird Sounds Identifier Call ID
This is for an experienced birder or someone that wants to become one. I was under the impression that after I recorded all of these various birds singing & chirping right outside my window, this app would identify each bird by their lovely songs and then I’d be able to use of those as ringtones. If I can get my money back that would be my goal, but this is a lovely concept - just not the one I was looking for.

Why pay?
This app is pay to use- but there is a better one that is free! It feels dishonest.
The recordings you make do not save to analyze later- so if you do not have service, you are out of luck. It also incorrectly identifies birds regularly. Do not recommend.

It used to identify for free, but now it doesn’t. Typical right wing capitalism bs.
Not so great
I regret getting the subscription. Often, the birds that I record are described as being found in south Asian or Hawaii and I live in Pennsylvania. Very disappointing.

Far from user friendly & many bird calls do not load & just sits w/the loading prompt circling for ever!! Why not allow me to my bird call into microphone,to ID the bird ,,rather than a needle in a haystack,with the generic input options !!??

It only identifies very common British birds ie Robin Blackbird Crow but wrongly identifies any other by sound

Wrong ID on every bird so far
All bird identification has been completely wrong. The identification seems to only want to ID birds in South America or Europe. Completely ignores Australia ( & southern Australia!). Dry land birds seem to live in the tropics. Small birds seem to be large birds. I suspect there’s much better apps out there especially considering the cost.
