App broken, useless, no updates in 10 months!
App no longer captures photos of birds at moment of movement, which is the whole point of the app. If they post an update that fixes the app…all is forgiven!
No longer takes pictures
This camera only works as live video. It takes pictures but I can’t see them. It says “download failed” I wish they would fix this bug.
Not working!
I paid $38 so I could watch my bluebirds nest. It keeps asking me to pay again! I’ve had this two years. I’m so disappointed. I’m not paying again! And there ‘app support’ isn’t working.
Zero tech support
Basic tech issues become dealbreakers if they won’t respond to customer service concerns, which they won’t. An otherwise good device and app are wrecked by total lack of responsiveness despite a published email address.
Download doesn’t work
The app stopped downloading pictures. I put in a new sd card but that didn’t help. I restarted the camera, deleted app and reinstalled…I don’t know what else to do.
Will only show generic photo
I have had this feeder camera for a couple years now and never had any issues. Now all of a sudden it will not show the actual pictures of the birds. All it shows is the generic photo. I have followed every instruction found to try and fix the issue with no success. What is going on and how do I fix the issue before I throw it in the trash?

Not as it states
Starts out great with free trial for cloud video. After that, videos go on card and do not download properly. Have attempted to get assistance to rectify without reply. No bird recognition, no video without outrageous fees for cloud storage. Buy anything but this.
QR code doesn’t load
The app stopped working about 1 day ago. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. When I try to sign in I get an error message.

Video stops working
It worked great for like two months and then it stopped saving video when the birds stopped by and only showed a picture. i’ve emailed the help email in the pamphlet and used the feedback section in the app and heard nothing from either.
Neat camera but the app needs work
Updated review 4/6/2025: I’ve now had this camera a little over a year and it’s stopped connecting to their server. So now I have a camera I can’t see or do anything with. Save your money on this one.
I wish I could adjust the sensitivity because I get tons of pictures of nothing. And the feature where it talks about squirrel recognition does not work. I have tons of pictures of the squirrel eating the seed and the alarm to scare them off doesn’t go off on its own. Now if you’re watching the camera you can set off the alarm manually and then it works. The lid to the feeder is plastic and the squirrel kept ripping the lid off and chewing the inside of the feeder looking for food. I had to hook up some wires so the squirrel couldn’t get the lid off. And you can tell the people who made this app don’t speak English as a first language because sometimes when I go to do things the options it gives me don’t make sense because it’s using an incorrect word. I think the camera itself is good though. Although a few weeks ago I had a day where it would not connect to the app no matter what I did and then randomly

Worked for a month, now won’t save anything.
App worked great for a month, now it won’t save anything on my SD card or the cloud, even though I pd for a year of storage. I have restarted and reloaded everything, didn’t help.
Stopped recording to SD Card
It used to work okay (but slow) and recently it stopped recording to the SD card. We formatted it, reset the device, installed a new one, and it still doesn’t work.

Bought the bird cam, downloaded this app. Now I see the reviews are horrible, and I have to create an account with my personal information that will be verified. But get this - the private information will be used and given out! Ummmmm no! So now I have a worthless and overpriced bird feeder, but at least I’m not hacked and my data hasn’t been sold. Be careful!!!

Have to keep deleting and reinstalling the app. Now it won’t even reinstall! My daughter bought it for my Christmas! Very disappointed!
Almost worthless.
This app is very glitchy. When there is a bird alert, there is no sound to notify you. Also, by the time you open the app and it connects, the bird is gone, and if you do happen to get lucky enough to capture the bird on live video, it cuts in and out and buffers constantly.
I received this as a gift so I will keep it, but if I had spent my hard-earned money on this, I certainly would return it and get my money back on the bird feeder.

Security Problem.
When I installed, it asked what network to pair it with and showed mine and my relative’s 40 miles away on a map. This other network was not even in my phone. I immediately deleted the app.
