Don’t quite understand that it’s a black dating app however I guess it’s about average it’s nothing to write home about. Unwarranted Banning
I wish I could give them 0 stars because of the support team. I’ve had this app for years, literally before 2019! I find it odd before the update my profile was fine and once I updated pics and prompt answers I get my account banned. I was told that I cannot be told how I violated community guidelines which is wild. When I look at the guidelines via the link they sent, it takes you Plenty of Fish guidelines not BLK. The same details don’t have my POF account banned so I’m confused. Terrible customer service when they can’t communicate properly.

I just don’t like how you have to pay to see who like you (if you haven’t liked them yet) same for messaging.
Disappointing
Largely feels like this app is more of a money grab than anything else. You don’t see who likes you even when you’re swiping. I understand concealing likes behind a paywall but they should always be in your card stack while swiping.

I don’t understand how they have settings to modify, who you want to see how close you want them to be but every time I modify the settings they showed me so it was 200 or 300 miles away. What’s the point of letting someone modify if you’re just gonna show what you wanna show and then notifications don’t even work you could have your notification set on and you don’t get a notification at all or you get it hours later.

Worst dating app for one your matches will never pop up in the feed maybe one a month but the system makes it so your matches do not show in the feed unless you pay the distance does not work unless you pay it will work for 2 days then show you people 500 miles away and it has 10000 fake pages and people trying to scam this app is a rip off had the elite version thats how i found all of this pyramid scheme bs out

The app itself is very good, but the people who are on them are very fake. The App needs to figure out how to not allow people to make fake profiles better. Like any other social media everyone lies on here. Maybe two out of 10 are real. A lot of the profiles are real people lying and cheating or trying to run scams . Google numbers are famous here

Not to fond of this app. For some reason it’s doesn’t load or show people that’s in your area. I don’t wanna talk or meet up with someone over 200 miles away. I’m prefer to meet someone in the same town/city as I am. Doesn’t how low you set the distance bar it only shows people that’s hundreds of miles away. And I’m not down for that. Hopefully they find a way to fix that.

Tried to give this one a shot. They have stickers you can put on your profile but very limited choices. Majority of the users can’t even represent their own country sadly. On to the next one for me.
Racially profiled
I woke up one day to find my account banned. The explanation was that I violated the terms of service, but here’s the thing I didn’t even have any matches and the account was 1 week old so how did I violate the terms of service? Customer support refused to give me an honest explanation. My guess is I was falsely reported by a racist and they for some reason automatically sided with them, because again I didn’t even have any matches. Be careful of black supremacists and black racists on this app.
