What's New in Bluebook Exams

1.14.3

June 25, 2026

Test Day Reliability - Macs and iPads are now blocked from testing unless all parts of the app are up to date. Calculator - Students can now resize the on-screen Desmos calculator during math sections. Lightbox / Image Zoom - Students can enlarge stimulus images via a lightbox overlay with pan, zoom, and reset controls. AP World Languages & Music Theory - Students can toggle between English and target language (FIGS) for toggleable test content. - Keyboard language selection added to login page and within the test. - Accommodations support including breaks as needed, extended time, extra audio playback, captions for aural prompts, and multi-day testing. - Audio player sticks to the top of the screen when scrolled out of view, keeping playback controls accessible throughout the exam. - Warning displayed when device or app volume is muted during testing. Reference Sheets - Compresses reference sheets to better fit smaller screens and high zoom levels, reducing the need for students to scroll or resize during the exam. Text-to-Speech (TTS) - New "Check your TTS voice" step added to check-in flow. - Audio alternative added for silent setup/check-in videos. SAT / PSAT - Added a required privacy notice screen during SAT Weekend test setup per legal requirements. - PSAT 8/9 test takers can now opt in to Connections (Big Future Schools). Symbols & Special Characters - Greek letter palette and stats-specific math symbols added to FRQ input toolbar. Miscellaneous - Several bug, accessibility, and usability fixes.

Test malfunction

While I was testing, it would not let me enter in a decimal point causing me to get an answer wrong. I tried to convert the number into a fraction but the number needed seven characters which was not allowed.

Decimal/Period not Working

(Note, Iโ€™m the son of the deviceโ€™s owner, not the deviceโ€™s owner themselves. Also note the device is an iPad).

During the practice test I was entirely unable to input a decimal into the answer box, even when attempting various means of doing so.
This caused a lot of issues with my practice test, as I was unable to answer many questions entirely. (Putting in as a fraction resulted in the answer being too long)
This caused a complete skewing of score within the math sections in my SAT practice test, and wasted time within it as well.
Hence, I find this application very frustrating because my score was limited not by my knowledge or test taking abilities, but instead limited by technical difficulties.

Recommend It

All these people who are talking bad about the app simply had an outdated one or the app was just to new. The app works really well and helps you see what questions you got wrong after you are done taking your tests. The only thing that they should work on is not having to go to the site when you are done.

Worst App I have ever used

Please Please please, do not use this app, this app is the most bad thing I have ever used. The SAT practice exams donโ€™t work half the time.
