Really poor-quality app and extremely low pay for drivers.
The fares being offered to drivers are simply not reasonable for New Zealand. One of my drivers was literally in tears and told me that Bolt was paying only $10 for a 10 km trip. After fuel, vehicle expenses, insurance, maintenance and the driver’s time, that is extremely low.

Wrong location
Why does the app always choose a wrong location for rider, if they’re waiting on north side of road- app points the driver to go to south side of road. That is a safety issue to either the driver changes location at busy road to crops over or rider to cross over-WHY. Why not call a spade a spade not big spoon. If someone is at a shop/supermarket name that place. Not a different street name. As driver you are always scared to stop at wrong location because the feedback from rider.

Extremely Low Driver Fares
Bolt’s driver fares are simply too low. $26 for a 26 km trip when Uber pays around $36 for the same distance shows a huge difference in what drivers can earn.
Bolt needs to stop underpaying drivers and start offering fair, competitive fares. This is exactly why drivers prefer Uber over Bolt.

Low payment
In this day and age, drivers are practically working for free in New Zealand. The money they get paid doesn’t even cover the cost of fuel and running their car.
