Want It For Multiple Users

I think this App is great!! Makes simple Bolus calculations easy. I just wish I could save multiple users all at the same time. (Please add this into your next update!)

Nice but a pain

Every time it updates it resets everything to zero and to the Canadian standard! Please find away so the settings carry over!

Hi there, I think I have finally fixed this glitch that some users have experienced, so sorry that's happened, but we should be good now with 2.5.1.

What happened?

Was working fine, then, my stored numbers were gone. Also, now it won’t let me put USA for home. Stuck on Canada? I updated the app and reset and the bugs they said were fixed were def not fixed. Same issue.

All of a sudden there were like 3 updates in a row and my settings are gone

What happened?

Was working, now lost all of my stored settings in the past 24 hours. Loved the convenience but now all meal settings are absolutely blank?

Easy to use but…….

I’ve been using this app for almost two years—my endocrinologist set it up for me instead of using a printed graph. This is always on my phone and easy to see. But I only have one screen, the app shows 4. Also, the military time is incorrect. Can I change it to regular time? How do I update to 4 screens?
Thanks for an easier way to calculate insulin.

Hi there, to be able to show 4 mealtimes, go to the Settings screen (the cogwheel icon on the Home screen, and under "Choose # of Bolus Parameters", pick "meal-specific (4)" and then exit the screen. The military time is from your phone.

Simple, easy to understand

I like that it’s set up for three different methods of calculation depending on your insulin sensitivity at various times of the day. I also like that it saves your settings instead of re-entering them every time.

Would love an and be willing to pay a decent amount for IOB and exercise adjustment to be included as well as it keeping your records permanently in the app for your review. I had the Rapid Calc app but lost it when I got a new phone and it’s no longer available in the USA App Store. I’m dying for someone to duplicate it. But in the meantime, this is about the best anyone has to offer here in the US App Store,
not to mention, it’s free with no adds. Can’t beat that.

Thanks for your positive review! In terms of IOB, there are a number of ways to calculate this, all very empirical, and really none of them are perfect. This would then also require users to enter the type of insulin and the time they gave the last injection, but the system wouldn't be able to track more than one injection at a time.

Simple and effective.

I’ve tried a few insulin calculators and almost all them have over complicated UI and are almost too detailed. This app is great if you just want to do a simple insulin calculation to get an idea of an accurate dose without needless frills.

Add the 4 separate meals back

I’ve been using this app for years and my daughter recently downloaded this on her phone and ours is different mines has 4 separate meals which is great because her ratios are different. But her app only has 1 setting and it’s not helpful please bring the 4 different settings back breakfast lunch dinner bed

Hi there, that option is still there. You just have to click on the wheel icon on the Home screen, which brings you to the Setting screen. Then just choose "Meal-Specific (4)" under the "Set # of Bolus Parameters" heading.

Insulin on Board

Are you working to add in the calculations the Insulin in Board? That would be so helpful.

My 12 year old son can’t use this app on his phone because it’s rated 17+. Wondering if you could lower the age rating.

Sorry, all "medical apps" automatically get a 17+ rating. Usually you can override this by installing yourself over parental controls.

Good app but has been getting stuck

We’ve used this app for quite awhile now but for the past month or so it’s been getting “frozen”. I have to close out everything and start over. Is there a fix for this?

Doesn’t seem to work

Whenever i enter my BGL and tap Calculate the app switches to an all white screen and freezes. Have to force quit app to start over again. It’s a shame because the app seems to do exactly what I want in an insulin calculator app.
