Easy, breezy!
The app makes it so easy to work the fan and light from my phone. I’m able to turn the light on before I enter the room at night. After getting into bed I’m able to turn off the light from my phone. Want more breeze or less? The control is right there on my phone. How convenient. My regular house guests have down loaded my Bond app for their convenience when they stay with me.

Awesome, but what if?
I only wish I could control a wider variety of devices with this app. I wish I could use it as a central controller for my ever growing array of smart devices as well. Because this is specifically for a limited number remotely controlled devices, it was difficult to justify making the purchase.
Cannot remove dead device
There is no mechanism to remove a dead ceiling fan. I search through the app, then contacted customer support. They kept giving me instructions that were not supported on my app. On top of that, you have to go thru a chat panel, but the chat is embedded in the app. You have to leave the chat to perform the directive, then return to the chat, which is not always available. Telephone support does not seem to be available. My smart ceiling fan/light controller will no longer connect, so I am going to replace it with a SmartThings compatible controller and just uninstall the app completely. That means I’ll have to replace the controllers in both fans. All in all, I am not a happy camper

It’s much more convenient to operate our motorized sun shades with your phone than to track down the remote it came with. The Bond Home App also lets you operate what you have connected remotely.
Best Hub Ever
Instead of replacing existing fans or motorized blinds, the Bond hub acts as a bridge by recording your original remote control signals and re-transmitting them on command via Wi-Fi, Alexa, Google Assistant, you can use it with different devices and different brands and save money. I recommend it a hundred percent!
