Bootmod3 is so easy to use anyone can do and the new update is super fast and responsive I just wish you guys would rewrite the names of what the berbals was called when trying to put it louder or more quiet cause it’s kinda hard to understand what does what but all in all great app and tune
Was 5 stars but no connection now
Ever since the latest update, today is 6/27/26, my iphone 8 wont open the app and my iphone 16 wont stay connected. The app keeps crashing.
What’s not to love? Too much power?!

Amazing App and Support
Bootmod3 support is absolutely amazing and very helpful, they got my issue sorted perfectly and spent heaps of effort to sort out an issue I had. I can’t recommend them enough!
Poor connectivity
App needs Wi-Fi to open the app and download your maps etc but won’t have WiFi when you connect to car. Poor connectivity design frustrating UX
Performance and Support
My review after having the tune for a month. I previously had MHD for my N54 that was built. This time, I needed the tune for my lil N20 just to give it a little more in terms of performance as a daily driver. This is worth the hype. The performance gains are real and the support from protuningfreaks is top notch. I’ve reached out about several items to seek clarity on the DME unlock (tbh saved me $200+ because I wa about to pay someone to unlock it because the software said lock status unknown) and to keep the CEL off due to downpipe and every response has been thorough and resolved my questions. Many customizable options on even prebuilt maps. Clear requirements for each stage. Very happy with my experience.

Wicked program
I installed this on my 2013 328 way before I even rebuilt the engine and put other performance parts on it this thing Turned over at the light wheels were spinning. I’m talking about straight extra power. I love this app. And if you don’t know what turned over is you’re not for my era of driving cars real fast that means wheels were spinning

Took some getting used to coming from Lund tuning a Mustang and my custom tune wouldn’t load initially BUT Serge and team tolerated my back and forth as I worked through the issue. Never figured out why tune wouldn’t load for a week but it does now, team responded even in off hours and X3M is boogying so I’m happy.
Update: Flex Fuel kit wasn’t reading properly per my tuner. Alan helped me sort it out by remoting in. Nothing but good vibes from BM3

Running Bootmod3 Stage 2 E30 on my 2016 BMW 328i xDrive (N26) with full bolt‑ons, and the results have been outstanding. Huge real‑world gains in horsepower and torque, excellent throttle response, and smooth, predictable power delivery.

BM3 Wireless Adapter
Tried the hard wired route and wasn’t able to get the app to connect to the car. Purchased the BM3 adapter and it connected immediately. Very solid product and customer support is top notch.
Terrible Decision
Please avoid this company at all costs. They have wasted a significant amount of my time and money. Due to repeated issues on their end, my car was left completely undrivable for nearly a week, and then the exact same problem occurred again, leaving me without a vehicle for several additional weeks.
The customer service has been extremely disappointing. Responses were very slow, communication was unclear, and I was never given a proper explanation for why this kept happening or how it would be prevented in the future. Being without a car for this long should be treated as a serious matter, but it never felt like a priority.
Because of the ongoing impact and lack of resolution, I am now debating my options moving forward, including whether further action is necessary. Overall, this has been a very frustrating and unacceptable experience, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value reliability and responsive support.
