Awful app
Battery life of the earphones box
Best earbuds
Good start; awful finish.
They’ve essentially been dumbed down to a ~$30 pair of earbuds and I consider myself lucky that they should even pair at all with how sharply my faith in the product has declined.
I gave it the benefit of doubt and tried waiting for the next app update to come out as well as the next update for my phone (iP13PM) to make sure there was no reason it should be awry.. Did not work.
I would not consider BOSE products at ALL after this experience.
-The app is meant for THESE Earbuds alone.. so how can you tell me it’s having trouble getting them to pair?? You’re not trying to detect other products.. How useless of an App is this? I’m no software dev but this is absolutely absurd for such a large company to have such a dedicated platform for a product and have it still do NOTHING! If I didn’t know better id say it’s nothing more than an information miner on my phone.
-Trying to troubleshoot in-app is WORTHLESS.
ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS.
There are only THREE buttons. One brings you to the BOSE store, one asks if you would like to pair a new device, one is the settings.
I tried re-pairing my device as a new device and it tells me that my Bluetooth must be enabled to do so
(…Despite my earbuds being paired and transmitting audio on Bluetooth)
I tried going to the ‘Help’ tab in settings but only had access to 3 pages-
1. Terms of use 2. Privacy Policy 3. License Disclosure
I defy anyone from BOSE to tell me how any of those can help ANYONE looking for guidance/troubleshooting/FAQs past not paying a real person to tell me ‘Kick rocks, your money is ours’
Worst yet, I genuinely enjoyed them when they worked- but BOSE seems to be unable to be asked to provide feasible means of having a lasting and maintainable product.
It’s worth noting that I’m in my twenties and consider myself young enough to be immersed in tech my whole life and be bog-standard tech-savvy. With that being said there was no easy fix available and I struggle to believe that isn’t by design.
I’d love to be proven wrong and helped through this process or wake up to fully functional earbuds; but when the easiest option available is ‘buy new Bose’ it’s just seeming like another company to take more and give less.
Not with my dollar, not anymore.
Unsatisfactory
I’ve worked in IT for the past 21 years supporting and working with iPhones from 3G (2008) and still support them today, Aug 15 2026. So I’m pretty familiar with iPhone functionality. And the last 3 Samsung earbuds I’ve owned, I had ZERO complications pairing All of them to iPhone after iPhone. But these Bose QC Ultra 2, an absolute Nightmare trying to pair with devices & control the earbuds via the Bose app. The native Bluetooth on the phone is connected, & when I go into the app, it says to find my product name ( it does appear in the list ) I click Connect, & keep getting the same error.
They work but also don't
Junk
Welp…
Annoying
If I’m watching a video the app will open, so I thought I’ll pause the video and close the app from my phone. Played the video and the app opened again
Had to go into settings and disable everything for this is for it to stop opening every 5 seconds when I’m trying to watch something.
