Bose QC earbuds

Fantastic item always bought Bose and once again not disappointed

Way better than I expected

3rd pair of Bose earbuds I’ve bought and they get better and better every time 👌

Doesn’t function 90% of the time

When I attempt go connect my Bose earbuds 90% of the time it just returns the error “something went wrong”. Customer service was no help.

Doesn’t work at all

Everytime I try to pair it just says “too many redirects” and fails.

Lacking

I wanted to stop the earbuds from pausing my music when i took one out; there's no way to do that anymore, besides sticking tape on the sensor of your earbuds. The earbuds also amplify sounds like wind which is super annoying. Pointless app.

Not for everyone’s ears

I don’t think being able to control these earbuds. Should be done by smiling or frowning, or shaking your head, but no matter. The supplied bands and rubber fixed and then configuration, but not working on my ear. And here I am stuck with the earbuds or forced to sell them at a loss.

Brilliant Bose QC Earbuds !

So easy to set up and the earbuds are very comfortable and the sound is spectacular.

Troubleshooting

I just got my Bose Earbuds and charged it for the very first time with my iPhone charger, since I was too lazy to grab the Bose charger. Woke up next morning, buds refused to connect to my phone. I freaked out! Thought about returning it & replacing it but I couldn’t bear to even wait, I had tasted it& it was unimaginable to be without it. Eventually, I tried the AI, Melody, and after explaining my challenge, it took me through steps to troubleshoot and it worked. I shed a tear within.

App automatically opens

Why the hell does the app automatically open when I close it? & wheres the setting to turn off in ear detection for Bose QC?

Always disconnects

Left earbud always disconnects after working fine for hours. Then have to re do connection, for the price it shouldn’t happen

Awful app

Ear buds are great, the app, however is frustratingly awful and not fit for purpose. Never connects to my ear buds. And when it does it takes 10-15 minutes to load.

Battery life of the earphones box

I am going to be honest but it took me a while to get use to the app and what it offers! Coming off Jabra and I probably had more expectations for Bose brand! Could do with a box battery life display please and sound cancelling rain or waves for sleeping.

Best earbuds

These are by far the best earbuds I have had. Both the sound is awesome and the noise control can’t be matched. I was power washing my deck and the power washer was about 6 feet away from me and I could not even here it with these earbuds in and it’s a gas power washer too so I was very impressed.

Good start; awful finish.

I’ve owned the product since last Christmas and about 6 months in they’ve stopped pairing in app which prevents me from using all features like EQ, hands free, and most importantly (for my applications) sound deadening/enhancing
They’ve essentially been dumbed down to a ~$30 pair of earbuds and I consider myself lucky that they should even pair at all with how sharply my faith in the product has declined.

I gave it the benefit of doubt and tried waiting for the next app update to come out as well as the next update for my phone (iP13PM) to make sure there was no reason it should be awry.. Did not work.

I would not consider BOSE products at ALL after this experience.

-The app is meant for THESE Earbuds alone.. so how can you tell me it’s having trouble getting them to pair?? You’re not trying to detect other products.. How useless of an App is this? I’m no software dev but this is absolutely absurd for such a large company to have such a dedicated platform for a product and have it still do NOTHING! If I didn’t know better id say it’s nothing more than an information miner on my phone.

-Trying to troubleshoot in-app is WORTHLESS.
ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS.
There are only THREE buttons. One brings you to the BOSE store, one asks if you would like to pair a new device, one is the settings.
I tried re-pairing my device as a new device and it tells me that my Bluetooth must be enabled to do so
(…Despite my earbuds being paired and transmitting audio on Bluetooth)
I tried going to the ‘Help’ tab in settings but only had access to 3 pages-
1. Terms of use 2. Privacy Policy 3. License Disclosure
I defy anyone from BOSE to tell me how any of those can help ANYONE looking for guidance/troubleshooting/FAQs past not paying a real person to tell me ‘Kick rocks, your money is ours’

Worst yet, I genuinely enjoyed them when they worked- but BOSE seems to be unable to be asked to provide feasible means of having a lasting and maintainable product.

It’s worth noting that I’m in my twenties and consider myself young enough to be immersed in tech my whole life and be bog-standard tech-savvy. With that being said there was no easy fix available and I struggle to believe that isn’t by design.

I’d love to be proven wrong and helped through this process or wake up to fully functional earbuds; but when the easiest option available is ‘buy new Bose’ it’s just seeming like another company to take more and give less.
Not with my dollar, not anymore.

Unsatisfactory

I’ve had these Bose earbuds for almost a year. The sound quality is quite nice! 5 stars. However, the app experience & pairing are a negative 12.
I’ve worked in IT for the past 21 years supporting and working with iPhones from 3G (2008) and still support them today, Aug 15 2026. So I’m pretty familiar with iPhone functionality. And the last 3 Samsung earbuds I’ve owned, I had ZERO complications pairing All of them to iPhone after iPhone. But these Bose QC Ultra 2, an absolute Nightmare trying to pair with devices & control the earbuds via the Bose app. The native Bluetooth on the phone is connected, & when I go into the app, it says to find my product name ( it does appear in the list ) I click Connect, & keep getting the same error.

They work but also don't

My earbuds keep doing weird things. Disconnecting when they aren't meant to. They stop working from time to time. Like now my right earbud isn't working.

Junk

Can not connect to new firmware

Welp…

Just purchased brand new QC earbuds and tried to connect to this app… too many redirects. Why is happening to us all?? I spent too much on these earbuds to have its companion app non-functional. Come on…

Annoying

Had these earphones for a year or so, haven’t really used the app, recently downloaded it and every few seconds the app opens itself.

If I’m watching a video the app will open, so I thought I’ll pause the video and close the app from my phone. Played the video and the app opened again

Had to go into settings and disable everything for this is for it to stop opening every 5 seconds when I’m trying to watch something.
