What's New in BotBook
1.6.0
September 2, 2026
BotBook has been recomposed from the shell in. The timeline is calmer and easier to read. Entries name their author, say when they were posted once instead of three times, and put the story first. Photos hold their shape while they load, group into a grid when there are several, and open full screen. Voice notes have a real player with play, pause, and a duration you can trust. Reactions show only the ones people actually left, plus one button to add yours. Writing is easier to reach. The floating plus button is gone, replaced by a composer bar along the bottom that reads Add to the timeline, with camera and voice one tap away. It stays clear of the home indicator and moves with the keyboard. iPad and Mac get a real layout. Your groups sit beside the open journal instead of a phone screen stretched across the display. Groups are a fast list again, with your role, members, recent activity, and entry count lined up, and dates that read like dates.
