Nah

Gorgeous design, but pretty basic breathing exercises. The tracking and streaks only work about half the time which is really annoying. Doesn’t look like a lot of updates or support so I don’t anticipate it will get fixed. The upside is that there is some free content you can access without subscribing so if you are able to ignore the streaks breaking themselves and the constant popups urging you to upgrade, you can enjoy some visually appealing guided breath work exercises without $$

BASIC AI

The longest sessions are all less then 3 minutes. Robotic voices. Maybe a total of 15 different sessions. This is what an elementary school program sounds like. A very unserious program. I forgot to cancel before the test period expired now I’m out and of $69.99. I actually tried 5 of the sessions just to make sure it wasn’t just me. It’s not just me. Please do not waste your time or money on this. I’ve used ‘Open’ and ‘Othership’ and been absolutely transported. Yes, either of those are twice the cost, but literally worth 10 times more in quality, HUMAN content. It’s my fault for not canceling. Lesson learned.

Asthma & Float

I like to use Float because I have asthma and it helps me build up my lungs and I love that I can do the test to see if I have improved.

Sounds good but too tough to get started and use.

Very difficult to navigate through this app. It’s even difficult to pay to subscribe. In app purchases aren’t possible and there’s no guidance to subscribe any other way.

Dis functional app - don’t get pro

I bought pro because of the promises of “challenges” and the ability to track myself , build streaks know how much time I’ve spent etc. however the tracking does not work at all. I will complete an exercise and it will not be reflected anywhere and will constantly show that I have not done any exercises that day or ever.

Marvelous app

If your looking to improve your awareness to your breathing this app is a marvelous start worth. Every dollar!

Not the best

The app is buggy and seems to always miss your daily streaks and doesn’t record any history (mine does not go beyond the 21 day streak). Contacted the developers through the app with no communication or update as to why this is happening. Some of the breathing exercises are however good, needs some improvements as mentioned above

Float Review

Float has changed my life. In times I didn't think I would make it through an intense anxiety attack, Float has helped me through. Just do a few of the exercises and it'll really help you, trust me. Read the description and see what kind of breathing techniques you need and they will work. Theres also a membership option, but there are also tons of free options (I use the free ones). I hope this app helps you as much as it helps me!

Good but could be better

conceptually a wonderful application but with a small amount of development could be amazing. unfortunately and this maybe only a issue I'm experiencing but the streak tracking and management of progress isn't working 🥺

Good first try

needs customization options like different time lengths for breathing exercises

Breathtaking, literally!

It really helps me to focus and calm down. The environments are decent and I like the guided exercises, keep it up!

Off to a good start

This app has a lot of potential. At the moment, the environments are very low resolution. Hopefully, in the future, we can get environments in as nice resolution as the Vision Pro environments and more of them! I’m excited to try the various types of breathing techniques.

What a relaxing way to enjoy breathwork

Great combination of relaxing videos and guided breathwork exercises! Way to go!

Great app

Mindfulness is an excellent method for gaining a deeper understanding of oneself and aligning with one's body. Float warmly embraces a novel perspective on breathing. Including clear instructions for the "Vargus Nerve" Stretch would undoubtedly elevate the value of this application.

I am about to delete this app

I am about to delete this app with a full subscription till April 2024 l keep missing sessions after l finish and reset the app and phone and by the app having that glitch it breaks my streak/chain and it annoys me..now what perhaps annoys me more is that when only way to contact them to get help.. the only is thru social media l hardly use social media that why l use this app to reduce the noise in my life and cacophony of this irritating modern world.

David Lloyd Review

Float has transformed my breathing and motivated me to keep to a daily routine and to eventually be an Iceman.

Great app.

Great app. I use it daily and notice a difference in mood and breathing.
Notes to the developer …
Would be better to able to specify settings globally though rather than having to do so for each session… It’s annoying to have to turn off the music and sounds each time I use the app. Also I’ve never used the follow up screen, I’m not sure how the “how are you feeling” data is used and don’t plan to set a routine so being able to turn that off also would improve my experience of use.

10/10Anyone suffering with mental health problems, this is the answer!

I have got severe mental health issues as I did heroin with my dad when I was 12 and struggle to keep my emotions under control but this app has helped me so much, I didn’t realise meditation could make such a difference. I also emailed the team when I was struggling and they offered helpp, absolutely amazing I couldn’t be more grateful!

Interesting app but subscription based with no new content.

Bundled content is reasonably good, but the service is subscription based (£52 per year) with seemingly no new content on offer.

Decent app but the lack of any new content combined with a subscription based annual payment means I can’t recommend and will not renew.

Either justify the subscription fee by releasing sufficient new content or stick to the bundled content and charge a one off fee. It’s completely unjustified to charge an annual fee but not produce any new content.
