I love this timer! I have tried several other products and this is a winner. It is super simple, non-intrusive, and allows me to specify 2 repetitive activities and how many times I wanted to repeat the cycle. That’s exactly what I wanted.
Just what I needed and nothing more
I spent hours looking for and trying gym timer apps. Something simple to replace a physical gym clock. Simple stuff, intervals, countdown, up/down timers… the basics…
Everything I downloaded had so many features that they were almost unusable. Or simple features (like saving a workout) required payment.
Box Timer on the other hand had all the normal features found on a physical gym timer, without any of the unnecessary bloat. Almost like the developer actually goes to a gym and has actually seen a gym timer.
Best of all, totally FREE.

The best interval timer app
All I wanted was a simple interval timer app for HIIT exercises. This app does everything I could want from an interval training app and nothing extraneous. Best of all the developer is actively maintaining it. I found a minor but annoying bug, emailed him about it and was met with a shockingly fast response and fix. Couldn't ask for more. Happily donated a few dollars to support this great app.

Excellent Free Box Timer
I’m so thankful I found this box timer. My favorite feature is that it works in the background so I can look at another app to keep track of where I am in my routine. The beeping for end of intervals is key!
