I have been a member of Brazos Valley since I was 11 years old because my mom was a bus driver for Lamar Consolidated School District. I am now 73 and am grateful for the staff and support I’ve been given all these years. And made many friends there too.

This is the best credit union. I love that they take the time to know you. They welcome you when you walk in or at the drive thru. I am so glad we made the switch over 30 years ago. I will never go anywhere else!
Needs to be more updated
It’s either the bank system it self or the app but when I make a transaction I should be able to see it right then and there made a transaction on 5/03 and today is 5/06 and it still hasn’t shown up and shows I still have that balance when I don’t.

The app seems to never be working, always saying that it cannot connect, or that it is having trouble getting my account information. I end up having to just log in on my phone browser.
Sneak Peak
I like the sneak peak feature where I tap the app and it quickly shows my balances without logging in.

As a software developer myself, I can tell you that is app is such a pleasure to use in terms of their updated UI/UX. The app developers should be really proud of their work! Love my BVSCU banking app!!

I walked in to Brazos Valley about 5 years ago!! I needed a loan and I was already a member !! I met the Branch Manager her name was Tamara! I felt so comfortable that I started asking questions. I had no credit she gave me a loan of a thousand dollars. I paid my first loan off early within six months I took out another loan and then did an express loan for Christmas then buy the time I knew it my credit score jumped and now I’m able to buy a house ! I was always intimidated by regular banks. A credit union is all about its members and not just about money ! I thank God for Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union . Without them I wouldn’t be where I’m at today.
