User Friendly.

Love having the option to use an App to create the labels and print via Bluetooth! Fun to make different labels for things, but sometimes that little keyboard can be hard to navigate. With the free app, it’s super easy to use and has many varieties of fonts, symbols, and styles. It’s also nice that you can charge the label maker. However, the battery option makes it much more portable. 10/10…Would recommend.

Too much learning curve

The first problem is an inconvenience, it loses connection too quickly, and doesn’t reconnect automatically. That means you have to go to Bluetooth settings and connect it every single time you use, and sometimes you have to reconnect it because it times out in a couple of minutes. Very stupid.

Bluetooth problems

My PT Dash N 25 BT label printer keeps losing Bluetooth connections and will not reconnect. This includes after multiple printer, restarts, removing batteries and turning off Bluetooth on the iPhone multiple times. Very frustrating.

Ease of Use

I tell my iPhone what I want printed the brother’s machine listens. Then my labels print. Piece of cake!

Huge Waste of Tape

The cutter leaves a good 1.5” of tape without print.

Bluetooth doesn’t stay connected

The whole process is clunky. Buy the cheaper label maker that doesn’t have a preview but links and stays linked to phone. 2 hours for 4 labels is not a me issue it’s a machine issue.

Connecting to Bluetooth!!

I absolutely love my labeler especially since I can just use my phone to personalize the labels, but I have a really hard time trying to get mine to connect to my phone or table!

Why don’t 24 pt fonts work anymore?

What just happened? With the newest version of the app, 24 point fonts don’t work on .47” (12mm) tape. Older, saved labels that were 24 point are reduced to 22.1 point. New labels created will only let you build to 17 point, and if you shrink and resize them, it won’t let you restore the older, larger size. Why?

Pretty Useless App

The app has lots of options for printing different label types and using different fonts, but it lacks one HUGE feature. You can’t print multiple different labels in one go. This is very wasteful of tape, and very inconvenient. The desktop app is much better and even allows import of spreadsheets. But when I just want a batch of 20 or so labels, I don’t want to drag out my laptop to do it.

Disappointed

Wasting far too much label to get it right

Wh?

Cannot type Chinese no matter what. Would’ve consider a different one had I known this.

It’s okay

I really wish this app updates more, like more ‘cliparts’ and the ability to rotate them. The overall app is okay, but if you want to print images they won’t be very good.

Imagine how much better this app would be if you could import your own designs in and borders?!?

Useless

The printer keeps printing part of the previous label, also I printed 10 labels and it was giving me battery low when the battery used were new.

Please shorten App Name on iPhone!

Love the App but the name is so long that it doesn’t read out correctly - any way of shortening this App Name?

Bluetooth connectivity

The app is overall very nice. The Bluetooth connectivity makes me want to ditch both the label maker and the app.

Love it - Please shorten App Name on iPhone

Love the App but the name is so long that it doesn’t read out correctly - any way of shortening this App Name?

Copy and Paste

Wish I could make multiple labels in one project. I have to kept changing a my label to print a label with a pattern. Example Bin 1, Bin 2, Bin 3. I wish I could just duplicate it over and over then change those and print them in one go.

Childish emojis

The emojis are dated and very childish. It doesn’t support phone emojis.

LOVE this tool

I’ve been using my old Brother P-Touch for over 20 years. THIS is a whole new ball of wax!!! So many great capabilities!!! I foresee this getting a LOT of action. HIGHLY recommend!!!
