About

In modern training science, the two metrics most strongly associated with hypertrophy are progressive overload of volume per exercise (e.g. Plotkin 2022) and weekly hard sets per muscle (e.g. Schoenfeld 2017, Pelland 2025). BTB Workout Log is a workout tracker built to follow exactly these two — with nothing in the way. ■ LOG SETS, WATCH MUSCLES ADD UP Just log weight, reps, and sets. BTB maps each exercise to the muscles it works, so weekly hard sets per muscle — chest, back, shoulders, arms, legs — are tallied automatically. Volume and estimated 1RM trends per exercise show progressive overload in numbers, not by feel. ■ FAST BECAUSE WE LEFT THINGS OUT No social feed, no rest timer, no tutorial videos, no templates. Logging and analysis only — that's why it's light. Last-time suggestions and a custom keypad finish your input in the seconds between sets. ■ LOG WITHOUT REACHING FOR YOUR PHONE Tick sets on Apple Watch, or straight from the iPhone Lock Screen — no unlocking, no app to open. Weights and reps can be fixed from your wrist too. ■ KEY FEATURES • Weekly hard sets per muscle, tallied automatically • Volume & estimated 1RM trend charts per exercise • Fast entry with last-time suggestions + custom keypad • Apple Watch app + Lock Screen set logging • CSV export (even on the free plan) • Fully offline, zero ads Catch undertrained muscles before they stall your progress. Balance your week by the numbers, not by feel. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://btbworkoutlog.com/privacy-policy.html

What's New in BTB Workout Log

1.2.0

August 10, 2026

What's new in this version: • Apple Watch app — check off sets, adjust weight and reps, and add sets from your wrist • Lock Screen Live Activity — tick sets off and keep an eye on the rest timer without unlocking • The rest timer now also appears on the workout detail screen • Delete a whole day of workouts at once, with undo • Pin a note to an exercise so your form cues and machine settings are always there • Exercise search now matches muscle names too • Swipe an exercise right to swap it for a similar one — your set count stays, and the weights come from your last session with the new exercise Thanks for training with BTB — keep going Better Than Before.
