Delivery Changed to Pickup Without Warning
I specifically selected delivery when placing my order, went through the entire checkout process, and submitted it—only to find out afterward that the app had somehow changed my order to pickup.
I called the restaurant, and thankfully they were able to cancel the pickup order for me. But then I had to go back into the app and place the entire order again just to get the delivery option I had selected in the first place.
There was no obvious warning that my order had switched from delivery to pickup before I paid, and there was no way in the app to simply change the order to delivery after it was submitted.
This is a pretty basic function for a restaurant ordering app. If a customer selects delivery, the app needs to preserve that selection through checkout and clearly show the fulfillment method before payment. Having to call the restaurant, cancel the order, and start over because the app changed the order type is unnecessarily frustrating.
