Reminders does not work with BusyCal
I switched from using Fantastical to BusyCal, but when I tested it, i did not test the Reminder integration/sync feature, but when I decided to move forward getting the iOS app, I noticed that this feature is horrible.
Good features but buggy
Buggy drag and drop of events in week view, cannot select events just after midnight, when biometric unlock fails the password fallback doesn’t work. Sorting and display of overlapping events is inconsistent. Not very responsive, as scroll animations have fade-out behaviour and you have to wait for it to fully complete before adding/editing events. Missing features to copy paste events multiple times (i.e. drag over days to paste many). It seems like maybe the developer mostly optimises for the Mac companion.

It’s lagging at every point
Overall good app but it’s not running as smooth as other calendar apps. Lagging at every point which can be felt.
Great app
Fantastic app, but pls add Russian language support. TY
No Attachments or Templates
BusyCal is it very visually appealing app. It is missing a couple of key features. The ability to add attachments, this is available in almost every calendar app, including Apple and templates.
I feel these items would make this the perfect app. I have written the developer and was told there was no plans to add these features. I think that’s a big missed opportunity. One of the best features is the ability to link Contacts to Events and Task. This is a natural progression to be able to reach out to someone in an Event or Task should you need to contact them.
