Gets stuck in an email verification loop
This app gets stuck in an email verification loop all the time. A pop up will appear that says my email needs to be verified. I click confirm and the pop up appears again. Killing the app doesn’t help. I have to uninstall it and reinstall it to use it again.
Cant complete order
Whenever I try to pay it says that there is an error with the payment method. The card works on everything else and I tried using the app months ago and it still wouldn’t work. Apple Pay doesn’t work and neither does putting in my card manually. It’s a shame because my work is right next to a cafe rio and I would love to go there often for lunch but it would take too long for them to prep it during my break which is why I order ahead of time. I guess I’m gonna have to keep settling for McDonalds. 😢

Can’t make an account
Refuses to even make an account. Just gives me an error that says “T”. Continue with guest account which takes you to the website where you cant even see what’s in your cart.
Limits toppings tf
Limits toppings to 5 for a bowl. But not in person. Lol so greedy

I like using the app to place orders for pickup, but there’s one thing I cannot figure out: how to use a saved order to order the same thing again.
I wasted twenty minutes this evening trying. At least you can zip through the customization very quickly!

App NEVER works
Seriously, I almost always struggle with even finding my local restaurant to order from the app or the website. Why is it so freakin difficult to make a food app work right?
This app needs feat
Wish you could copy previous ordered items, makes it less of a breeze to order and leads to mistakes

Everytime you swap back and forth to the app it wipes the damned order forcing a complete recreation of the order again and again
awful customization
the ability for you to to remove things is not an option. you can’t leave notes on the order to tell them to remove something either. if i don’t want any meat or fajita veggies on my salad, it will not let me proceed until i pick one. will not be ordering from this place because of this. absolutely ridiculous.

Gift card error
I had over $225ish of unused gift cards in the app. Customer service said it’s not loss but it could take up to two weeks or longer to find the gift cards
APP NEEDS UPDATES!
The app doesn’t work. It needs an update really bad. I can’t login into my account and everything is not updated and it says all my favorite restaurants are closed on it. What the heck is going on?

App (not good) review
The most frustrating thing is all the help online would indicate you just press a button to reorder saved favorites. Including showing a button. My app does “not” look like those pictures. I can save orders. I can look at them. I can edit the name. I have no “reorder” button.

Reorder button?
You can view past orders, you can save and name past orders as favorites… but there’s no way to reorder, so what is the point? I just spent an annoyingly long amount of time just trying to find how to reorder my favorite meal and had to put it all in manually in the end.
Automated change need to stop
I was placing in an order for a Cafe Rio near my home. The 4X bonus offer isn’t shown in checkout screen so I went back to app’s Home Screen to click and add the bonus coupon to the order. This action caused the app to change my pick up location to the closest restaurant to me at that moment (not my local restaurant) without me noticing it. I went ahead, paid, and submitted it. When I arrived at local Cafe Rio, that’s when I found out they didn’t get my order and learned location got changed without me noticing it. This needs to stop. Remove all automated change!!!!!

Can’t redeem offer
Downloaded the app and received a $10 burrito/drink offer for doing so. But it shows as an invalid offer when I try to order just a burrito and a drink. Don’t offer it if you’re not willing to honor it!! I’ll go to chipotle instead.
Rejected by a customer service manager
Had a couple issues with the app didn’t understand how to order the two for 25 call to get it explain if I could still get the drinks and chips. Customer service person seemed impatient right off. Escalated my feelings of the situation. And did not fix anything.
Apple wallet integration broken
Integration with Apple wallet has been broken for years.
One of the worst food apps
First of all, the cafe Rio menu takes a lot to order, each item has lots of options. However, while you can you your past orders in the app and even “save for later/favorite” orders, there is no way to actually add the saved order to your cart. So you have to duplicate the whole thing manually. Makes the whole experience frustrating and time consuming. Often choose not to go because of how difficult the ordering is for a pick up order
