Upgrade killed the app

Last update to app on 7/17/26 totally messed everything up. I can no longer use impossible to figure out. To bad was east to track calcium I take now it’s just not worth it. Adios!!!

Response from developer

There was a minor bug in the upgrade that affected calcium values for foods added to the app by users of previous versions of the app. We identified it and fixed it immediately and the app now works perfectly but you need the update available on the App Store version 3.0.2.

Terrible Update

It was very easy to use then they updated it. I’m going to delete the app right now.

Calcium values need to be stated in mg not just %

If I add or search for a food item I want to see HOW MANY mg Calcium are IN THAT item/ amount. NOT just percentages. It is too difficult to double-check percentages. Developers please take a look at Protein Pal App to see how a streamlined food app can work.

Response from developer

You are seeing percentages because you chose %target rather than mg in the settings for display of quantities. Toggle to mg in settings and you'll get the mg. Meanwhile, we are about to release a major upgrade for all our apps with a new easier-to-use interface, on-screen help files, and the ability to see a lot more detail (including mg and percentage) on screens. All upgrades are free for everyone who has paid the one-off fee for each app or app bundle.

Not easy to use

Despite the fact this tracker has an area where you can enter your own foods to the list when you click on them, there is no way to add them to your daily count. The daily counter is not easy to use. The list of calcium foods to choose from is very limited. This app needs a lot of work in order to be user-friendly.

Response from developer

An inability to add an added food to your daily count suggests it hasn't been saved to the database.
