User reviews

Generally good

This app is pretty helpful in helping me log my daily K, but the available foods a rather limited. Also, I don’t know if it’s just the dark mode, but it is almost impossible to read anything with blue font. Will still continue to use the app however!

Response from developer

Thanks for this review. We will be releasing a major upgrade with new easier-to-uses interface and on-screen help files in the next week or so and this also ensures all type can be easily read in dark mode.

You have to add to much

List of foods is limited and confusing to add new food.

Response from developer

The app must know how much your different servings of food (eg slice, cup, portion) weigh to calculate your daily potassium intake in mg. So you need to provide the app with that information when requested. You will then be able to add and then see potassium content per serving (eg slice, cup, portion) rather than per ounce or 100g of your food. The app is consistent and the same process will apply to all foods the first time you add them to the app. Alternatively you can use the app's 400-item database and serving sizes provided, which is very straightforward.

Great App

This app is an excellent tool in monitoring potassium intake. It is easy to use and scanning the barcode is quick and accurate- even giving you the brand name of the product. I’m new to using but has already proven itself. Highly recommended!

Response from developer

Many thanks for this review. Great to hear the barcode reader is proving easy, quick, and accurate.

Helpful

This app is helpful keeping track of potassium intake however it would be nice if there is a place to add notes to help keep track of symptoms

Response from developer

Many thanks for your feedback and we're very pleased you find the app helpful. We like your request for a symptom tracker within the app and will investigate the best way to do this. It will be included in a free update soon.

Bar code scanner

No access to bar code scanner. Blue window opens up with Potassium info and at the bottom of screen is a dismiss button. On the iPhone 15 the button is more than halfway off the screen so there’s no way to close it.

Response from developer

We redesigned the barcode scanning screen in February 2024 to improve its functionality on all iPhones including mini iPhones.
