Easy to use
Overall easy to use and works great. A link from the text to the app would be great. I think it is absurd that I have to rate each driver every single time. Rating should be optional and not forced. I always give 5 stars because I don’t want to hurt the driver’s score or whatever. But I should be able to skip rating. I use this service for my special needs adult child - I don’t interact with the driver and my child doesn’t have the vocabulary to give a review daily so what I rate is not ever going to truly accurately reflect the driver. I am giving the app 3 stars because of how ridiculous this system is. Rating doesn’t matter- just do it or don’t use the app- right? I will happily update my rating if/when the forced rating is changed.

Really great service to get to & from the Metrolink staton in Camarillo!
Good and easy
I like using the app to book my rides. It’s so much easier than having to call in. My only wish is that the app change to dark mode for those who need it. In addition i would love the text message confirming that the driver is on the way to link to the app automatically so that we don’t have to keep juggling messgages and then the app.

Camarillo Area Transit is Just like a hail ride Lyft/Uber but super economical!
I am excited using the CAT App! I used to call Lyft as my ride to work but this one is super economical! i love the new buses , proud of it! Drivers are very nice, helpful and respectful. The system improved a lot compared when the new management started. One thing more , I can book a ride anytime and anywhere . The app is really fantastic!!

New features
I love the app and being able to schedule, make changes, and view estimated pickup times for my son. My son raves about the drivers and how friendly they are to him. I appreciate and understand the importance of time management and ensuring my son respects the driver's time too.
Mixed Feelings
My only complaint, and I will revise my review and starts if it changes, is that I am forced to rate every single drive. My daughter uses the bus 6x a week, she doesn’t tell me how “Maria”or “John” was as a bus driver. So I default to 5 stars and ignore the written, but it really doesn’t reflect reality, I’m just giving the benefit of the doubt.
Edited 9/11/24 to lower stars for now. This is the second week in a row my daughter’s ADA was dropped off making it impossible to schedule a ride since we are in an unincorporated area. By time the fix is implemented (it apparently takes an hour for the system to change) the ride time she needs to get to work on time are filled.
