About

CanPay Insights shows what a Canadian paycheque is actually worth after federal tax, provincial tax, CPP/CPP2 (QPP/QPIP in Quebec) and EI — for 2026, in every province and territory. WHAT IT DOES • Annual salary, hourly wage, or a full timesheet with shifts, breaks, overtime and premiums • Every pay frequency: weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly • RRSP contributions, union dues and other deductions, handled the way the CRA does • Ontario Health Premium, Ontario and BC tax reductions, the federal basic personal amount phase-out — the items that are withheld at source, so the number matches your real cheque • Compare provinces side by side before a move or a job offer • Save calculations and see how your pay changed over time (optional sign-in with Apple or Google) HOW IT IS BUILT The app runs the same open rules engine as canpayinsights.ca, verified against the CRA's payroll deduction formulas (T4127) for the current year. Every figure traces to a published rate; nothing is estimated. PRIVACY No account is required. No ads. No IP address or precise location is ever stored. Anonymous usage counts use income brackets, never exact salaries. Available in English, French, Simplified Chinese, Punjabi, Hindi, Tagalog, Spanish, Ukrainian, Korean and Vietnamese. Estimates for a single employee with standard credits. Your employer's payroll and your tax return may differ.

What's New in CanPay Insights

1.2.4

October 7, 2026

• New switch on the home screen turns anonymous calculation statistics off. No account needed. • Timesheet now asks how your tips are paid. Tips paid directly by customers have no CPP or EI deducted, as CRA rules require. • Calculations corrected against the CRA and Revenu Québec 2026 payroll tables: Canada employment amount, enhanced CPP deduction, Quebec worker deduction, Yukon basic amount, employer RRSP match and non-cash benefits.
