Inconvenient
Keeps logging off, this wasn’t always the case it’s a recent thing they have done and it defeats the point of being convenience. Because of the hassle of having to find my college and log in every time I open the app, I stoped using this entirely. I only use it on browser because it is the only place where it won’t log out.

Good idea, so-so execution, many bugs
Good idea to have this app. The menus are fine; good organization. However, details like actual work submitted or feedback are missing.
I don’t think it goes through any testing before deployment. It is riddled with obvious bugs. For example, the grades under Assignment are updated; the grades under Grades are not, even after forcing an update.
There is no mechanism to submit bugs; hence, I am using this review (hopefully, someone reads it)

New format
I much prefer the older layout compared to the current one. I don’t like that it shows former groups from classes I am no longer
In and I have no way to remove the groups from the layout. Canvas, please give the option to return to the previous layout for those of us who prefer it, it was much more user friendly before

Barely functional on mobile
I can’t view any announcements on mobile anymore after the update. The whole point of canvas on my phone is that it makes my courses easily accessible. Why should I continue to use it when I don’t get any notifications nor can I view any important updates from my professors??
Not all device friendly
I think in-structure made canvas strictly for computer use. I cannot do anything when i’m in my phone/iPad because it is so glitchy and slow. It won’t let me scroll down all the away or when it’s drag to answer it doesn’t work. Please fix this!!
New update is slow and pointless
The new update is no longer instantaneous and takes 10 seconds to load courses to the dashboard. It is testing my patience. If I wanted to work on my patience I would have children. No thanks.

Nothing ever loads correctly from pressing the notifications.

“To Do” Section Bug
I love Canvas, however there’s this bug where it will say I have MORE assignments than the actual amount.. and when I refresh, it goes back to the ACTUAL amount of assignments.

Always offline
I don’t know if this is specific to my university but we’re constantly experiencing server outages. This is unacceptable because I can’t access my course materials or submit assignments.
No free account creation. Extremely sad.
I have ADHD and OCD. Things have to look a certain way and be directly Infront of me in one place for me to work. I didn't go to a traditional college, all my teachers are independent and have their own sites. It's hard to keep track. I'm weeks behind on so much. Then I remembered using Canvas in school. I figured I could make a teacher account, import/create my own curriculum, then sign in as a student and do the work. But there's no longer free account creation.

Not working!
Not sure what happened, this app used to work great! But with this new semester it doesn’t work for me anymore. Loading up the app just says “failed to load login page” “go back and make sure you enter a valid institution name” I know for a fact UCF is valid so I don’t know why I can no longer use this app on my phone.

Buggy
This app has been acting buggy recently. Showing “34” assignments in my “to do” when I know and can see that there’s only 4. Where is it getting the other 30?! I’ve made sure it’s updated, tried closing it in the background, logging out and back in…the issue persists. It will even pop up that I have 34 notifications as well. Previously this app was great for mobile, seems we’ve not paid attention to mobile in a minute.

THE NEW UI IS OVERCOMPLICATED IT MAKES IT 10 TIMES HARDER TO KNOW WHAT IS DUE. CHANGE IT BACK TO THE OLD UI FROM EARLY THIS YEAR
