This app gives me bad memories of the algebra class I took where im pretty sure the teacher though I was mentally delayed + bombed the exam, good app though

I love Canvas because it makes it easy to keep track of grades and do assignments. It tells you what your teacher’s names is and it’s just a great website to keep track of due work. You can put any school you are in.✨✨❤️❤️❤️🤓

Não consigo acessar os conteúdos que os professores anexam na pasta de ARQUIVOS. Sempre quando tento acessar aparece a seguinte mensagem: “Ocorreu um erro ao carregar os arquivos. Puxe para atualizar para tentar novamente.” Eu puxo, e nada de atualizar. Já tem meses que estou com esse problema. O técnico da faculdade já tentou acessar e verificar se tinha algum problema e não conseguiu descobrir o que está acontecendo. Um saco!

I love this app I just wish the app for MacBook worked like it does on my phone. Hopefully we will be able to use the app on MacBook instead of the browser in the near future.
Glitching
I can never just click on the app and it goes straight to my dashboard. The barely loads or comes on when I’m trying to do my assignments on the go. It’s so inconvenient.

Not sure why the app has 4.7 stars. After it got hacked all I’ve had is issues. 8 times out of 10 I try to open it and it crashes immediately, really unhelpful overall.

This app is really nice I am in junior high and now going into ninth grade in August so I kind of have too have the app I love the app so much when I’m too lazy too open my computer and sign in I can just go too Canvas on my phone! I love that option but my only complaint is the Too Do List it says I have 50 things too do when I don’t I have them done and submitted and it’s so annoying that I have too have a notifications turned off then I don’t get notified when I have a big test coming up or something like that pls Developers fix that bug other than that thank you so much for an amazing app!!

To do list glitching
I am pressing that I completed the assignment and it says unable to complete task on the to do list. Can this be fixed?
Unacceptable
I have used the Canvas app for over a year, and on iOS 18 and 26 it worked great. Of course I was devastated by the app's liquid glass redesign (it was done incredibly poorly), but it worked just fine.
Fast forward to today, and a few weeks ago my iPhone 14 broke so I had to find another phone, my "new" phone being on iOS 16. The last compatible version for 16 is 7.13.0, and it was released just over a year ago. You would think that a version from just over a year ago should work just fine, but in reality 7.13.0 is COMPLETELY broken. Nothing works, you can't log in, access the Canvas Network page, not even scanning a QR code works. I found a thread explaining my exact problem, but as you could likely expect, there was absolutely no helpful solution to be found.
Furthermore, you can't even add the desktop site as a PWA. My guess is that you're supposed to be forced to use the mobile app, but for users like me that can't actually use the mobile app, it is disgusting. On mobile the desktop site is so broken and so clunky, it is painful to use.
Especially since there are users stuck on 16 with the iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and X, it is unacceptable that the app is completely broken within a year of the last iOS 16-compatible release (the thread I mentioned earlier was from May 2026). I am appalled by this, and being so hostile to users who need to use this app for school is ridiculous. This is not okay.

Don’t recommend it over the browser
The app delays approximately 1 or 2 days of assignments and you’ll find yourself shocked that you have tones of work… it is only an issue if your not productive enough other than that it’s useful just don’t rely on it as my recommendation

Notifications suck
Please fix the notifications. I receive notifications that an assignment has been graded, but when I tap the notification banner, the app opens and just keeps loading. The grade never appears, so I have to find it manually. This has been happening consistently and is very frustrating.
