Very smooth experience.

Love the new UI and Icon.

App won’t load

I just find a loaded this app. When I pull the app up it doesn’t load and redirects back to login.

Poorly designed

Constant glitching, makes you log in multiple times. Loses place in line, takes several attempts to buy tickets

Useless

Absolutely useless. Glitches all the time. Cant even look at airports. If you get that far it searches flights forever then never has results. If i ever get to use my miles, switching to a card with benefits that you can use without such a hassle.

LOVE it so far

Although I have only used this one time, I love the fact that the price that I saw at first was the price all the way until the end once I got to the end, the price did not change. This is amazing and I love it.

Frustrating

While searching for a hotel, this app keeps showing me hotels that are not actually available for the dates I am searching. I put in all my search information and it’s showing me hotels that are not available, not in the correct city, etc. Unusable & frustrating.

Great app!

I love the app

App won’t open, lacking options

This app won’t even open on my iPhone SE, no doubt because it’s full of bloat that keeps throwing me the same “offers” I’ve clicked “Decline” on multiple times, just like their main app. So I book travel through the website but options (e.g. LCC flights) are lacking while astronomically priced “vacation stays” with zero reviews are plentiful. Meanwhile there is no integration with Airbnb, so you will have to juggle multiple services if you’re traveling in a larger group.

Easy to use, good pricing

I was initially skeptical about this app because I had negative experiences with other banks’ travel portals. They were slow, difficult to use, and often had exorbitant prices. However, I decided to give this app a try for my recent family trip to Hawaii, and I was pleasantly surprised by its performance.

Booking air tickets, vacation rentals, and cars was incredibly easy and straightforward. The prices were also competitive and reasonable. Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with this app and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and affordable travel booking platform.

Easy bookings

One of the best and easiest travel experiences I have had

Easy and efficient 😎

Made it super easy.

Just downloaded

I sometimes book travel Capital One and I was excited to download this travel app. But it only shows travel purchased through Capital One. I would happily book more travel through capital one, but they are quite limited in options. I’m going on an Alaska cruise which I could not book with capital one. My airfare was cheaper on another site. I’m unable to add these travel items to the app, so it has limited uses for me. It would be a great five star app if it was a comprehensive travel app that let you import travel not purchased through capital one as their travel selection is very limited.

Ok when using my iPad to book a flight I could not select the return airport in landscape mode. After a few moments of frustration, I figured out I could select in portrait mode. Apparently all the developers only use the app on their phone? Silly.

I searched for Premium class airfare and was excited about the price. But the premium is not business class lie flat seats to Europe. Is that luxury class??? Going back to google flights.

Do not book through Capital One Travel

I had one of the worst travel experiences of my life because of Capital One Travel, and I will never use this service again.
I booked a condo weeks in advance through Capital One Travel using my Capital One card. The full payment was processed and posted to my account, so I had every reason to believe my reservation was confirmed.
When my family and I arrived after driving from Oklahoma to Panama City Beach, we discovered that our reservation had never actually been confirmed. We were standing in the resort parking lot with three kids and nowhere to stay. We had no confirmation email because Capital One Travel never sent the check-in instructions, despite me calling multiple times before our trip.
The first time I called before leaving, I was told not to worry because the email would be sent. When it never arrived, I called again while traveling and was told everything was fine and to simply go to the property to check in. That information was completely wrong.
Once we arrived, the security informed us we could not check in without the required confirmation. I called Capital One Travel again, and only then did they admit that although they had taken my money, my reservation had never actually been confirmed. Their solution was for me to find a hotel during one of the busiest times of the year. We could not settle for a hotel we needed a full kitchen we had bought all our groceries. Therefore, we were not going to let our food go to waste.
By that point, almost every hotel and condo was sold out. The few places that were available were thousands of dollars more expensive than what I had originally booked. My family spent hours driving around while exhausted, stressed, and worried that we would have nowhere to sleep.
Out of desperation, we finally found another place at the last minute. It was nowhere near the quality of what we had originally reserved. The condo had old urine stains in the shower, sticky floors, sand in the bed sheets, and a strong unpleasant odor throughout the unit. We had no choice but to stay because there were virtually no other options available.
They also removed the rewards I earned from booking the condo, even though I had been told those rewards would remain on my account. Instead of making things right, I lost rewards that I had legitimately earned.
To make matters worse, I was told I would be compensated with $200 for everything that happened. However, when I checked my account, the $200 was gone. I cannot understand how they can promise compensation and then remove it without explanation. It feels like yet another failure on their part to take responsibility for what they put my family through. Nobody wanted to take responsibility after the money was taken!! They LIED and said there was a problem with the payment. No one mentioned anything being wrong the previous times we called, they told us they called the host and that we would receive the email shortly which we never did!!
This entire experience caused unnecessary stress, ruined part of our family vacation, wasted countless hours on the phone, and left us scrambling for a place to stay after a long drive. Capital One Travel failed at every step: they accepted my payment, failed to confirm my reservation, gave me incorrect information multiple times, left my family stranded, and then handled the aftermath poorly.
In total, this situation ended up costing me an additional $4,697.63 out of pocket, on top of wasting two full days of our vacation trying to fix a problem that shouldnt have ever happened! It's unfortunate that we had to use money that was only for emergencies only.
I expected much better from a company like Capital One. Instead, I received one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I wasted two days out of our vacation dealing with people on the phone trying to get my problem resolved. Packing and unpacking pur things to one place to another.
I cannot recommend Capital One Travel to anyone. If you’re trusting them with an important vacation, be prepared for the possibility that your reservation may not actually exist—even if they’ve already taken your money.

Doesn’t let me make a favorites list

I could do an initial search for hotels, but then when I click on a hotel, it takes me to a webpage, then when I try to save the hotel, it makes me create a list, but then once the list is created, it won’t let me save anything to it.

poor follow up

We have used this app twice for two major trips. The first was horrific and we did complain to Capital One and got a travel credit but there was NO follow up. This place had mold everywhere!!!
Then the second place was spectacular but oddly again no review or follow up of the stay.
I don’t like how there isn’t a messaging system like on Expedia where you can at least communicate with the hotel before.

Filters and ADA info could be way better

Capital one and the hotels need to work together to standardize the filters and how the amenities are displayed. One place listed their pillows as an accessible amenity. Accurate pictures of the entire room with written descriptions should be required. It is very hard to find a room that meets even part of ADA needs. For example, if all the rooms showed the full shower and toilet situation I could probably book a non ADA room. I ended up taking a gamble on this booking because my spouse said they could use the bathroom in the lobby if the room toilet didn’t work for them. There are quite a few options that had multiple rooms pictured for one room type listing and horrible descriptions. For over $$-$$$ tier I should at least get accurate images and descriptions. A Microsoft form and instructions on how the hotel should take pictures would be a start. I’d even help them get it set up. It would save me hours of looking at the actual hotel website, trip advisor or calling directly to find out the real deal. Certainly makes an impact on how I feel about this travel card.

Unbelievable

Unbelievable price, I love this app! Thank you Capital One!

Easy

Great App, and easy to use

Cancelation is terrible

This app is terrible if you want to cancel a flight. I am within 24 hours and I’m having to call two different Airlines and one of the Airlines. I never even got the confirmation code from capital yet. So I’m having a really hard time trying to cancel it.
