Love Capital One Travel
I love using Capital One booking platform, whether I am online on the webpage or using the app. It makes it really easy to review all of the information update any loyalty programs keep all your information in one spot for booking travel. Of course, having the choice to pay with credit card or with points is always a bonus! I’ve had to call customer service a couple times and have always been more than satisfied with how efficient and knowledgeable, caring, and generally helpful the customer service department is. I just booked another trip and look forward to booking my next!

Surprise Fees
You never actually know the total cost upfront. Showed up at the hotel only to be hit with an unexpected $210 charge at check-in (resort fees that were hidden during booking). Support is completely indifferent, offers no real assistance, and refuses to take accountability for misleading prices.
Best travel app
I used to use other travel apps but CapOne travel app is the best to manage your travel , points and all in one place! On top prices are very competitive
Calendar Time Zone Bug
I’m booking a trip internationally for Nov 22 and found flights departing on Nov 21 due to the timezone difference. Can’t have a published app from a public company doing this kind of stuff.
Love this ap
I am convinced this is the best all in one place to shop… easy n quick
Great app
Great way to book travel. Easy and efficient way to pay or use points
Terrible
I can’t even get logged into this app. Keeps saying I’m locked out of my account which isn’t true because I can log into the regular app just fine. I called CS and they don’t even know that this app exists and can’t even help me get logged in. I’ve deleted the app, reset my password, everything I can think of and I still can’t log in. Beyond frustrating and the fact that calling CS for no help whatsoever is infuriating. They legitimately have no idea what app this is and keep telling me to use the desktop which wouldn’t help me anyway considering I need APP NOTIFICATIONS per the capital one app telling me I need the travel app to receive.

PROTECTION
I choose CapitolOne travel app bc it is convenient and offers flight delay protection, and price drop credit.
I booked a flight last month and by the time I took the flight the price dropped $50. Capital One gave me that credit and I applied it to my next airfare purchase.
I find it to be a valuable and handy application that protects me from airline cancelation fees, rebooking fees, and delays more than 3 hours.

Some suggestions
Overall, the app works fine but there are a few things that definitely need improvement:
1. When searching for a flight, the back arrow and the done button at the top of the screen both do the same thing and take you out of the search function. The back arrow should show you the previous page not completely take you out of the search function.
2. There should be an option to compare flights based on the need for carry on bags.
3. You should be able to toggle to see total cost as opposed to cost per traveler if you’d like.

Additional airport needed
No way to choose Columbia Regional Airport (COU). It’s the fastest growing airport in the US and it’s not an option in the app?!
Horrible app
I use the CapitalOne app with no problem and gave done so for many years however when I loaded this app it didn’t recognize my login and signed me out for “too many unsuccessful attempts” after a single login
Amazing - everything I need for travel
This app is fantastic. I get great deals and have confidence that my travel will be smooth. Thank you Capital One.
I love that the app tells me whether airfare prices are expected to go up.

app update
every time I update the app on the iphone it looses my login credentials and can’t use the face ID. then trying to log back in and resetting passwords does not always work.
Terms and conditions apply
I was supposed to get a price match within 24 hours of setting a booking, but because I booked this on the same day as my first night at the hotel, the next morning passed and the agent said he couldn’t see what the booking cost yesterday.
I offered to show him a screenshot from the night before when I made the booking. I asked if he could just look it up because they were partners and can pull their listing history. I asked if he could just pro rate the rebate on the remaining 4 days of the stay. Everything above he said no to. He offered me a small concession worth less than half what the credit should have been but I couldn’t help but feel blindsided by these opaque terms in the small print.
That’s not to say the app isn’t good but buyer beware that if you’re not careful you may erase or end up in the negative with travel portal bookings. They know people are busy and don’t have time to read every condition and that’s where they’ll get you.

Do not book through Capital One Travel. Use another platform or book directly with the hotel.
Their booking system displayed and confirmed inaccurate room information, and Capital One has refused to take accountability despite being provided clear screenshots.
I booked an oceanfront suite at AVA Resort Cancun for five travelers. Capital One’s app advertised the room as accommodating six guests, with two double beds, one king bed and two queen beds. The listing also displayed photographs of a large suite with substantial living and dining space. My Capital One confirmation repeated the same occupancy and bedding information.
I later discovered that Capital One had actually sent AVA a reservation for its Friends Family room—a 614-square-foot room with one king bed and two sofa beds that Capital One’s own app lists as accommodating only four guests. AVA appears to have assigned exactly what Capital One transmitted, so my complaint is not with the resort. Capital One displayed and confirmed one accommodation to me while reserving a materially different room.
I contacted Capital One Travel and its Executive Office multiple times and supplied screenshots documenting the discrepancy. Capital One responded that AVA would permit all five guests because one is an infant and that its internal system shows I booked the Friends Family room. Neither response addresses the inaccurate information presented to me while booking. Allowing an infant to stay in a four-person room does not make it equivalent to the six-person suite, bedding configuration and photographs Capital One advertised and confirmed.
Capital One offered a $200 hotel credit but refused to acknowledge or correct the inaccurate listing. It continues to insist that I am receiving the “correct” room while ignoring the clear contradiction within its own customer-facing app.
Customers should be able to trust that the room Capital One Travel displays and confirms is the room it actually reserves. The attached screenshots speak for themselves. Based on this experience, I will not use Capital One Travel again, and I am seriously considering switching banks because of the dismissive and inadequate response from its Executive Office.

Very bad compared to Banking app
I am only able to select my favorite vacation rental after going through search by entering location, date, number of customers. After getting in to the search results if I select my favorite spot I end up in a random web view. I have to close the search and enter all the details again to get back to the search results. Back button does nothing.
Travel credits randomly not showing up sometimes in booking page.
Not very reliable.

Capital One Travel
This app is simply the best!!!! So easy and comfy to book. Safety is simply sleek. I love Capital One!!!!
POOR Discounts
Providing a $50 discount on a $500 night stay is just 10%.
This same discount can be obtained via most travel plans; even the home provider!

Login Function Broken
Doesn’t properly link to capital one banking account. Login constantly fails and you cannot leverage functionality without being logged in
Great Benefits
Capital One travel has made it very easy to book flights and cars. The app is very user friendly and has saved me money over using Costco Travel. The benefits and points go a long way. I highly recommend entire X card for travel!
