Great Benefits
Capital One travel has made it very easy to book flights and cars. The app is very user friendly and has saved me money over using Costco Travel. The benefits and points go a long way. I highly recommend entire X card for travel!
Poor Lounge Compatability
This is an app focused on the travel benefits of Capital One. However, you cannot join the waitlist or even know if there is a waitlist through this app. Therefore, it’s deceiving about how busy a certain lounge is. I expect that the next update includes this feature.
Infuriating to Use
Honestly this app sucks and it feels like with the amount of bugs it has it’s extortionate given its the only way to book travel plans using points. Being able to do the bare minimum is (aka make a simple booking) is doable if you tolerate all the refresh issues. Features that would be so helpful to have during booking, such as accessing the favorite list to compare booking options for hotels are completely useless given it cannot load a chosen list and rather refreshes your search from the beginning. And if you’re dealing with any travel issues just forget finding anything useful in the app. I needed to change a flight, but the “change your flight button” simply loads to nothing. When it does load, it just tells me to contact staff, which is another broken button. If I try to contact staff from a different page where the button is actually clickable, the ONLY way to contact staff is via phone number. Which is utterly pointless when you’re traveling abroad and don’t have international call service! Who would have thought I would need to contact travel support while I’m TRAVELING. Finally, if you decided to change up your plans and want to prolongate a stay at a hotel, there is no easy way to do that. Unfortunately there is no option in the app to extend a booking. You have to create an entirely new booking and then talk to your hotel to link the stay yourself. But like always, the app is fickle and might simply refuse to load when you’re in a time sensitive situation! Definitely have had to postpone making travel plans on several occasions during my trip just because the app was in a bad mood and I couldn’t get anything to load at the time I wanted to use it.

Great Addition to Cap One Services
Very user friendly app. Prices were comparable to other sites and extra miles are always welcomed.
Great App
This app is very convenient and usable! Being able to earn rewards while using my savor credit card to book for trips is a cherry on top!
Useless for business travel
Traveling a lot for business, I use my quicksilver card and get 1.5% of all of my expenses back to me as a little bonus for my expenses going onto my personal card. I thought the 5% on hotels offered through CO travel would help boost my bonus as I spend about $12,000 a year just on hotels. This app was nice to see the prices of all of the local hotels at once, but booking isn’t really more convenient. It didn’t have any place to add my loyalty numbers, so I cannot use any of the hotel apps’ perks, like digital keys, picking a room, contactless check in. After I checked in at the Hilton yesterday, I added my loyalty at the desk, it then appeared on my honors account. I used the app to check out, but it sent me a receipt for $0- because the third party paid it. I called capital one to get a receipt for my expense report, the operator had no clue, like they have never had a request for a receipt, after about 20 minutes explaining my issue and being on hold, he figured out that I can get a receipt from the website, but it is not available on the app. They cannot send it directly to me. I have to manually screenshot or print a copy from the website. My hotel was $108 at booking, but offered me 5% back. That’s a nice boost to the 1.5% I normally get from purchases on my quicksilver card. Unfortunately though, the receipt only shows the total after everything, so $108+ T&F -5%. The room was nice and cheap, but instead of me getting the standard 1.5% bonus on my personal card for using it for my work expenses, my boss gets a 5% discounted rate that I can claim. It is also added a lot of extra steps to get my hotel points and I lost the perks of frequent travel. I would not recommend this app for frequent travelers or business travelers.

Upcharge for worse quality
I tried to book a round trip ticket but when I compared to booking directly on the airline (same exact flights) it was about $30 more. Not a huge difference on a ~$1350 flight, but still! That’s a dinner or something. Also, booking directly on the airlines website allowed seat selection for every leg of the trip for free. COT only had it for the outbound flight, even though flights were the same.

Great
Last minute family trip, booking was super easy.
The WORST Travel App and The WORST Customer Service Experience of all travel cards
The app experience is terrible. Everything is booked through third-party vendors and if you try to make any changes, you cannot make them on the Capital One website. You have to contact their customer service, which is all offshore so are you are talking to someone in India. And they say that they cannot make any changes a third-party. I would absolutely recommend this app to nobody. Their card is terrible and their travel service is even worse.

Happy Traveler
Exceptional planning with ease. Honestly, I really have found Capital One travel my New go to!
Convenient, easy, helpful And everything right at your fingertips. Thank you, Capital One.

Heart List Not Visible
When I would heart items in order to save and review them later, the “view” tab to look at a list of all my hearted properties would not work.
Points thieves
Great option if all of your travels go to plan, but very difficult to reschedule or recoup points spent when plans change or there are delays. I paid for a rental car with points but when my flight got delayed and the car fell through Capital One refused to give my points back, which is crazy because almost all major rental car companies don’t charge you if you don’t pick up the vehicle.

Not very functional
Listing of flights are done arbitrarily. Changing it to a different criteria such as price, connection time, total duration either doesn’t exist or very hard to accomplish. On connecting flights finding flight information is not possible. It should be intuitive as to click on the airline or the flight information but didn’t work for me.

Do all they can to accommodate
We experienced a day where we couldn't check into our hotel at all because Hilton had no record of our booking, and it was approaching 9 pm. We ended up getting "no guarantee of refund" and having to risk eating the cost entirely. We're going to trust that this middleman will advocate for us and in the meantime provided a menial travel credit.

Additional Fees
I had used this site several times, overall I like it. My one major issue is that the additional fees for insurance should be included in the overall cost. It would seem that to be one of the benefits. Otherwise I would just use the third party site and expect to see the same results.
Disappointing
I’ve used Capital One Travel twice, and both experiences were disappointing.
The first time, the agent booked my flight for **one month later** than the date I requested. They were unable to fix the mistake, and I ended up having to drive to a different airport just to make it to my business meeting.
The second time, I booked a hotel through Capital One Travel for another business trip. The amount on the hotel receipt was lower than what Capital One Travel charged me, so I couldn’t get fully reimbursed by my company.
In the past, Capital One agents were helpful and genuinely tried to resolve issues. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case. Customer service has declined significantly, and they appear to care less about customer satisfaction. If this continues, they're going to lose loyal customers.

.
App has lots of glitches and bugs , struggles to load. One time i booked a trip and the day of my trip i kept logging in the app to check details and etc. and i learned the hard way the app only lets you log in a certain amount of times before you can’t get back in for the day. couple times ive clicked on one date or time of flight and then it will change on its own to a different time. Then once booked they won’t refund you . Also most prices are more expensive compared to other apps like expedia.

Worst, undeveloped app ever
I am very disappointed that your team has no testers. The app feels poorly designed and difficult to navigate. Locating flight information, especially during layovers, takes too long. It seems like a basic app that could have been assembled in five minutes. They simply don't indicate plane types if you're flying with stops. I cannot understand how a large bank could launch such an app. It is a shame.

Lies about prices, won’t allow cancel
Try this app for the first time searched up my flights and saw a great deal. Edin all the information went to the last screen and got a message saying “oops the airline raised their prices. Sorry about that”. This was annoying, but I went ahead because of the promise to be able to cancel within 24 hours. Later, I went to cancel the tickets and received a message that said I needed to go to the airline to cancel these tickets couldn’t be done in the app. I went to the airline and entered on all the information and that website said I need to do contact whoever booked the tickets because these tickets couldn’t be booked through the airline. So now I’m stuck with falsely advertised Price tickets stay away from this app. Don’t use it until Capital One makes some serious changes.
