Scrape what has dried on. Work the whole surface - anything you miss shows in the final reading. WET Soak it through with the hose, spray off the last of the soap, then squeegee it dry. The carpet advances on its own once it is fully covered. IT REMEMBERS WHAT YOU DID Scrub too hard in one place and the pile frays. Keep going and you will wear a hole right through. Over-soap and the colour fades. None of it is hidden - the grade at the end counts clean coverage, damage, and the time you took. Some carpets arrive already worn or damaged.
