I recently bought a car and it came in yesterday. It’s a 2019 titanium ford fusion
In picture 14 of the car it shows keys with remote start and everything it shows up and I get handed keys after signing everything and then I look at the keys and I was handed rental keys and I asked the Carvana tow guy about it he said “let me look and confirm, oh yes you’re right it does come with remote start well….. just call them tomorrow and they will fix it.so tonight I’m sitting at home after a 14 hour shift trying to see about the keys I was told by Samantha “oh isn’t it a shame when expectations don’t become reality””those are the keys we was given if u want to get new keys it’s a extra charge” so I’m like okay but in the photos you guys took of the car it shows these keys I wasn’t given those keys and samatha said “well does the key given work? Well since they work there’s nothing I can do you’ll have to buy keys with the remote start for your car” so what about the photo of the keys? I just want my damn remote start I was treating myself and upgrading from and 300k mile 2005 Camry :( very disappointed in trying to use Carvana when I heard SOOOO much amazing stuff about them from family and coworkers

Carvana is like the Amazon for Cars. They’re fast and easy process to get a car delivered to your doorstep. Anyone can get a car if they don’t have anyone to go to the dealership with or just having the convenience of getting it to your home. While this sounds neat, there’s lots of cons getting it from Carvana. First off they’re WAYYYYY overpriced. They could sell a car from 2015 for 20k after taxes. That is absolutely absurd even if it’s low mileage. Most cars they sell are over 20k after taxes. You’re basically close to paying the same price as you would for a new vehicle from the dealership. There’s a point made that they have a markup for the vehicles they sell precisely because they deliver them and inspect them. The thing is though, they don’t do a multi-point inspection at all. They will sell you cars with near balding tires, no carpets, no spare tire, and close to reaching maintenance. If you wanna still buy from Carvana, I urge you to please take it to a mechanic to do a prepurchase inspection because it’ll show lots of stuff Carvana missed on. They don’t sell you cars that are in good shape, they just wanna get rid of them. Don’t be like me, I didn’t get a mechanic to look at it because I trusted Carvana’s “multi-point inspection”.

False Advertising
I was offered an approval with my moderate credit and paid the down payment upfront along with a 100 hold when the car became available. When it dropped I paid the insurance out and provided proof of income as well as long term employment. After all of that I was contacted to lay that I need a third part lender or consignment. Which was out of the question. Now I have to wait a week or two with their business day whine policy and I am out about $800

Below Standard Vehicle
I was sold a vehicle that had multiple defects, including brakes that were worn metal-to-metal. I guess the 150-point inspection prior to purchase is just empty talk. Repairs cost me more than $1,000 within the first 12 days of purchase.
