Great experience
My Mustang
Hate going to dealerships
I can’t stand going into a car dealership. I’d rather pay a few dollars more to avoid it. So far, the experience has been great. I compared hundreds of cars and whittled them down to a few. Very easy to do and makes it easier to research other things you’d need.
Carvana Experience
Another great carvana experience - did a trade in/purchased new vehicle and everything went great! Syd was awesome! He kept me informed every step of the way and the drop off and trade in went flawless! Thanks Syd for making this a stress and hassle free event!

I had a very disappointing experience with Carvana.
When I filled out the vehicle information, I clearly disclosed that my car had dents on the door. I even contacted customer service beforehand to ask whether I should upload photos of the damage, and I was told it wasn’t necessary and that everything would be fine.
The first pickup appointment was a complete waste of time because the driver arrived late and said he couldn’t take my car since his truck was already full. I rescheduled, and during the second appointment, the driver refused to take the car because of the same door damage that I had already disclosed. He took a few photos and told me that management would review the case and contact me within a few days.
That was almost three weeks ago, and I still haven’t received any update. No phone call, no email, no explanation.
I’ve wasted my time on multiple pickup appointments, followed the instructions I was given, and have been left waiting with no communication whatsoever. This is not the level of service I expected from a company like Carvana. I hope someone finally takes ownership of this issue and provides an update.

Of course it’s awful…
This is the vehicle version of drop shipping but worse. Yes, dealerships are awful, but there are at least legal boundaries and consumer protections. With a dealer, you can at least take into your own mechanic and have it checked out before committing to anything. Carvana requires a contract before you even see the vehicle and once you do get to have it checked out, your already in a contract and BEST CASE SCENARIO, you get credit toward another one of their vehicles and still have to pay shipping. It’s a coin flip every time… and that is the BEST CASE. Most people just end up, being up a creek without a paddle and TRADING IN THE P.O.S. vehicle back to Carvana for a fraction of what they paid and going to a dealer. Save time and money and go to a dealer. It sucks, but not as bad as Carvana.
